Great location, great place to stay. The host is very friendly, helpful, even paid for an hour of parking until their parking 🅿️ spot was available for our car. The room was immaculate clean, the sofa 🛋️ was comfy and there was enough space for our family (2 adults and one child) to sleep for a night. For a separate charge you could also get a decent breakfast, basic products (scrambled eggs, cheese, ham, butter etc.,)

Not many people will enjoy the old trams and the new...

Not many people will enjoy the old trams and the new beautiful metro, but I did! A lot! I recommend buying water in supermarkets. The best one is a Kaufland that looks like an old market. It's located next to metro station Serdika. Public transport is very cheap and surprisingly easy to use.

Lively city and it feels safe. Nice old town area. Plenty of restaurants choices. We visited national gallery and natural history museum. The gallery was nice but the natural history was very dated which was disappointing for the 10 year old.

We were a group of 8 17 year old's and we found it pretty boring. we walked around and covered basically everything there was to do in a day. in hindsight i would've stayed for less time here and explored different cities in Bulgaria. nightlife is okay though, went to studentski grad a bit.

If arriving by train, expect a €20 to 25 rip off taxi quote for a 2 or 3 km journey. From a hotel a similar ride will cost 7 or 8 euros. The metro is great, but not with lots of luggage. Vitosha boulevard, the pedestrian walkway one km long with all the tourist shops & restaurants is NOT the place to eat for something bulgarian and reasonably priced. Most menu advertised meals are €20 and compulsory 10% service charge. Salads at around €10 along with sandwiches..Wander the back streets for genuine bulgarian food,,and half the price atleast. As with many cities worldwide it seems Pizza has replaced most local foods. Sanitary in it's varied forms used to be found everywhere.......but no longer Nevertheless Sofia is interesting for a short time but atrain trip to Varna from Sofia is one of the most enthralling rail journeys in Europe., in summer Then you can treat yourselves to a wonderful swim in.the Black Sea

Excellent location in town centre yet very quiet! Easy access to the National Palace of Culture, Vitoshka street and the metro station. We had an apartment which was exceptionally clean, with tea & coffee facilities, mini bar, and a really comfortable bed. Nice coffee and a great variety of foods at breakfast, including a tasty Bulgarian "French toast" . Staff were professional and friendly. This is the second time we stayed at hotel Niky; we enjoyed it and will definitely book again.

The property is very close to famous spots in Sofia and the place is full of restaurants,bars and supermarkets and the restaurant down this hotel is great, I really recommend the visitors to try it and the best thing about the location of this hotel is very quiet, very safe and also very clean. The rooms is very clean except the “Mini Fridge” that doesn’t work but everything is fantastic. I would book this again soon when I go back to Bulgariaaaa!
