Excellent location. We stayed at a beach front suite, and it had the most wonderful view. The accommodation is super clean and airy and facilities are new and in good shape. Staff was super super friendly and helpful. They always offered to take us up hill to our room in the little golf cart they have there to help with luggage and transportation. Breakfast is fine. With all the essentials. One night we ordered dinner in the room and it was good. They rent chairs and sun umbrellas for R$3 a piece for the day, which is a game changer (front beach restaurants charge 100 bucks for 4 chairs). Also, they rent snorkels for R$25 for the day (beach front businesses charge 150 per hour). Personally, I loved these extra services and want to come back. After you check out, they let you keep the car in the hotel for longer, without charge, and you can use a restroom to shower and change out of wet clothes before you travel back home. This is a great accommodation, and gives you extra time at the beach even after check out.

The city occupies a peninsula, spanning through hills, beaches, coves, tropical vegetation and charming roads. Of course, there are also plenty hotels and resorts on the beach in Búzios. Buzios is safe and can take the volume of tourism maybe...

Buzios is safe and can take the volume of tourism maybe except at the busiest times like Carnaval. Range and quality of restaurant food is truly excellent, better than Rio. Lots of larger and more cosy beaches to visit. We always stay close to Ossos beach as that area still retains it’s fishing village character. Lots of Argentinians and Uruguayans visit or even work there which makes it more fun if you one can speak Spanish.

Nice and cozy place with sandy beaches and beautiful lakes. Pleasant promenade, Lots of good restaurants, bars and shops. Possibility of a boat trip around the bay. Good Bamboo Buzios Hostel (very good breakfasts with fantastic view of the sea).

The place was totally overcrowded by Spanish-speaking tourists, the prices were sky-rocketing and the value for money was real bad. The beaches were so full, you could not even lie down on the sand. I ordered a Caipirinha on one of the beaches and got food poisoning. It's a total shame how a paradise is being ruined by reckless tourism with no regard of the nature or human well-being. I will never come back.

We loved Búzios!

We loved Búzios! It was very picturesque with beautiful views and beaches. Many many restaurants and bars, live music, art, shopping, etc. The city had well maintained buildings and roads. We ate dinner in a central seafood restaurant called Valencia something, super tasty fish, shrimp, mussels, and squid. We had breakfast in a Doce Mel Buzios (padaria) with good coffee, juice, and warm sandwishes. We were only sadded by the fact that we only booked 1 night in Búzios!

The place is nice, lots of beaches for all the tastes. The weather could be better. Most of the time it's cloudy, which is great for walking around, but frustrating when you want to spend a day at sea or on the beach.

Lovely place,lots of restaurants and exciting for young people. Safe to walk on the streets and didn't see any beggars as in Rio. Our family of 8 loved it so much that we left Pousada Corsario where we had a bad exerience and stayed another 4 days at the Atlantico Buzios, where we enjoyed our stay. Selling staff at the shops are friendly and laid back, no pressure. Quality shopping as there are some shooping areas that remind us of Leblon ! It was definitely worth the 3.5 hours transfers, we recommend it.

I really enjoyed my stay in La Boheme. Conveniently located next to one of the most popular beaches in Buzios, warm and calm atmosphere, the venue counts with a swimming pool and jacuzzi, restaurant, and the bedrooms are comfortable. This place is not luxurious but cozy, and the staff is welcoming and willing to help. Breakfasts were good with a variety of fruits and paestry. The bar menu is limited but they prepare delicious caipirinhas and mojitos. I’d definitely enjoy another stay here.

The best place to stay close to Geribá beach. very nice family run hotel with nice owner.There is a amazing swimming pool inside hotel if you are lazy to go to beach which is 200m from hotel or if there is a hot weather.Geribá beach is also the best among the Buzios beaches with surfing activities. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come again to Bizios and will stay at the same place. We had the great holidays there.

The staff is incredibly thoughtful, I can't say enough nice things about everyone we interacted with. It really feels like a personal experience. The restaurant has really, really good food, especially the breakfast (the hype is real!) and the snacks you can have by the pool. Location is great, it sits on a cliff with amazing views to ferradura beach and you can access the beach from the hotel, which is super convenient.

The guest house is wonderful, full of green areas, with nice refreshing pools and beautiful views. The breakfast is also good, showing a very traditional Brazilian choice (fresh fruits/juice and cheese). The staff is very kind and helpful.

Staff was just AMAZING. They did everything they could to make our stay the best stay possible. Having a private staircase to both Joao Fernandes and Joao Fernandinho cannot be overlooked, it is so nice to be that close to (in my opinion) the best two beaches in Buzios.
