It is a nice place to visit if you come for a short stay.

It is a nice place to visit if you come for a short stay. Prices of goods are fair. The Mercado Municipal is a must place to go. It has a nice park downtown with water fountains and lots of nature to enjoy. It is quiet and calm overall. The negative about Poços de Caldas is that the place is overly saturated of traffic cameras and speed meters all over. The municipality does not seem to have a balance in it. It feels like it is a disrespect. Drivers on the highways are often stressed, they tailgate your vehicle frequently and don't seem to prioritize safety. They don't seem to care about the speed limits. There were no police vehicles reinforcing the road traffic laws, and drivers frequently overtake other vehicles on parts of the road with continuous yellow line. Downtown transit has too many road bumps, potholes and speeding cameras. It was awful. The municipality of Poços de Caldas could certainly do a better job regarding the transit, the police enforcement and the highways.

The trip was amazing.

The trip was amazing. Pocos de Caldas is a special city, built in a volcanic area. There are a lot of things to do for kids and adults. A mixture of nature, hot springs, and small-town life with a plaza and a band for people of any age to enjoy.

The city is plenty of very good restaurants, cafes and...

The city is plenty of very good restaurants, cafes and coffee places. There are excellent options for shopping, with exclusive women's apparel and shoes. Thumbs up for squares, streets and people walking around. The list of attractions to visit is big: I recommend Zoo de Passaros, Cascata das Antas, Recanto Japones, Veu da Noiva and Cristo Redentor.

Poços de Caldas ia a beautiful city with tons of places for...

Poços de Caldas ia a beautiful city with tons of places for you to eat and shop. My favorite place to eat is Franchesco’s and for cakes is Sodiê Doces. The traffic in Poços is crazy. We had a rental car but it’s better if you can stay in a Hotel downtown so you can walk to places. It’s very difficult to find a parking lot. People drive like crazy, too many motorcycles that have no respect.

Pocos de Caldas was a great place to visit.

Pocos de Caldas was a great place to visit. Becco had a large selection of entrees at their restaurant, I had the risotto with carmelized onions as it was the special of the day. Very delicious. Also ate at Rioshy Sushi Bar that was good and staff were very attentive. Guides and taxi drivers that the staff at Hotel Minas Gerias got for us were so helpful-went to Aguas de Prata to Fazenda Santa Maria and town square, Bird Zoo, glass blowing company, waterfalls, and shopping. Was also able to walk from hotel to city center.

It is a very pleasant city, with a few touristic attractions that are worth to visit. In the center of the town there is the "Bar do Pietro" with tables on the outside, nice meals, cool beer and a very friendly staff.
