United StatesI liked there was a great little Cafe that you could eat Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner depending on what you needed being out and about enjoying other activities in the area. You Just had to give the owners a heads up on what meal is needed.The Bed was comfortable and the In wall electric Fireplace was an added touch .

If you are seeking a remote location with no evident...
If you are seeking a remote location with no evident staffing other than cleaning and maintenance during specific hours, but plenty of peace and quiet this is for you. Advertising is from pre-Covid so as stated there are no golf facilities in operation. Thank you to the owner who has given me a full refund as we were two seniors arriving late afternoon expecting golf club like facilities with no person on property found the location and lack of staffing totally unsuitable for our needs.

Barry's Bay is a beautiful little town.
Barry's Bay is a beautiful little town. We brought our side by side to get out on the ATV trails and explore the fall colour's and they were magnificent. You can drive you ATV within the city limits which made getting to and from restaurants very easy, saving time of unhooking the trailer from my truck. My only regret of this trip was staying at the Pinewood Inn. It is rundown and very dirty since the new ownership my recommendation is to stay somewhere else.

Is a great starting point to hit some nice scenery and good...
Is a great starting point to hit some nice scenery and good roads for motorcycle riding. The Wilno Tavern just east of the town is fantastic for Polish food along with great Polish history (as the first Polish settlement). Lots of great small spots to stop and enjoy such as Bent Anchor Resto-bar in Cobermere.

The room was a decent size with a very comfy bed.
The room was a decent size with a very comfy bed. Decor was nice, bathroom fine. The thing that let it down was the windows were broken and filthy and the aircon blew back into the room rendering it useless.

The experience was globally disappointing.
The experience was globally disappointing. Firstly, if you come attracted for the fact of being a golf resort (the views of a golf course, having the chance of playing golf, etc), it is not the case. Once there, when I asked (by email, no personnel at all in the place), they told me that it was once a Golf Resort, but not anymore since years. Nevertheless, in the room they still offer a leaflet (picture attached) with the golf course playing options. I found that tremendously misleading and even cheating. On top of that, several additional deficiencies were found: -lack of cutletery and crockery in the room for basic eating, despite the room has fridge and microwave. - bad isolation of our cabana room, being able to hear the neighboring room.

Very small town, no real town square or downtown, but had Metro groceries, an ice cream shop, Tim Hortons, beer store etc. The real draw is the large lake & area landscape, beautiful. A great stop for motorcyclists.

Very good location, breakfast not provided, but open for lunch and dinner. New chef, food and service was very good. Owner always available and trying very hard to update the hotel. Comfy bed. Older hotel rooms on the small side but good sized bathroom, just what you would expect. Good place to stop for a night. Also left my iPad behind and the owner tracked me down and called right away, much appreciated!

The hotel was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I like the character of the older building, Liz was very accommodating as I was too tired after my long drive to go to the third floor with all my bags so I got a second floor room. I also liked the Roku for the TV, easy to sign in to Netflix etc. I had a very comfortable stay while visiting relatives in Barry’s Bay. Will definitely go back.

By far the best location in Berry Bay for hotel accommodations. Parking was ample and staff were friendly. Uniquely, this was the TV experience of my hotel life! It’s often overlooked, but hotel TVs are huge contributing factor to comfort. Too often they’re confusing and inconvenient. After a long trip my partner and I really appreciated the ease in navigating.

Great experience from start to finish. Owner was welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and had all of the necessities. I was happy to have some tv variety which was far better than most chain hotels.
