All bookings in Gaspe were full so we booked out here in Cap des Rosiers. Turned out to be a great choice. Close to the lighthouse and right on the water, you can watch the sunrise over the water in the morning. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Convenient parking right outside the room. Very close to north entrance of Le Forillon, so it was perfect for an early hike ahead of the crowds.

Cap-des-Rosiers is a nice little place right in Forillion...

Cap-des-Rosiers is a nice little place right in Forillion National Park. Although the village lacks in close breakfast restaurants, there is a very good cantine close to the lighthouse, for lunch and dinner. The national park has many hiking trails close by for all levels of hikers and the views are stunning.

The view from the front door and evening sunsets were spectacular. A lighthouse and beach across the road! Morning coffee and homemade muffin at Yvonne’s was a lovely way to start the day. She is warm and welcoming, helpful with advice on local dining and attractions. We had a really lovely stay! A little gem of a hotel.

Clean, comfortable and quiet room close to Forillon entrance. Check in was easy, and efficient. Front desk lady was very helpful with good suggestions. Water quality was questionable due to a lack of rain. Hotel provided us with plenty of bottles of water.

The location is amazing. We had a room with ocean view and it wasn’t a lie. The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from the lighthouse and the beach. It’s near by the Forillon park as well. The staff is very helpful and friendly. It’s a quiet, lovely place.

The young couple that owns the hotel were very pleasant and hard working. A breakfast was offered and it was a great value, complete with an egg, fruit, yoghurt, and juice. It is an older motel but we’ll Mai rained and very clean.
