Location is a tad too far from the local downtown touristy area, but that’s only if you’re walking. Driving it’s no problem and I preferred now being right downtown in the middle of the chaos. Hotel has a ton of character, and the free parking was a bonus.

Came here on a motorcycle trip with my son for his stag, and we loved Drumheller. The dinosaur museum was everything we had expected and more. We met some amazing people in this town and just enjoyed all Drumheller had to offer.

We went to the Last Chance Saloon in Wayne for dinner, it's just outside of Drumheller. The food and service were very good. Stopped into Valley Brewing, sat on their patio and had a beer, the music was peaceful and not loud which was very pleasant. The ambience was perfect on a hot night. We went to the Museum which is very interesting and I'm sure most tourists are going there. It's amazing to think how OLD dinosaurs are, how many more are buried there and all over Alberta. Drumheller itself is not a pretty town, of course it's very hot and desert like there but I didn't notice pots of flowers anywhere. The town is a weird configuration. I was looking forward to some fruit stands but I didn't even see one. We did get to see what we came for though and that was the Tyrell Museum....We also had breakfast at the Badlands restaurant...large portions, great food and service and reasonably priced....fyi...if you're a server their looking to hire

Very friendly people and wonderfully developed. We are grandparents and took a trip ahead of bringing the little ones so we would know what we were getting in to. We are so pleased with the possibilities!

Tyrell was wonderful, badlands walk , and lookout, were very...

Tyrell was wonderful, badlands walk , and lookout, were very interesting , large dinosaur lots of fun. Hoodoos were a big hit. Very interesting , like stepping back in time. Just driving into Drumheller is an experience, it’s like driving down into the earth itself. Very cool place. It never gets old, now that’s a pun . We’d go back again.

The road signs didn't make it easy.

The road signs didn't make it easy. The GPS was required to get around. The major attractions like the Tyrell Museum were clearly posted. But a posting indicating turn right or left on 3rd wasn't clear to me. And that's just me. Just enjoy your stay in Drumheller

Many places to visit, some of which we have seen previously...

Many places to visit, some of which we have seen previously on visits. I was amazed at the Badlands Passion Play, the acting, the crowd scenes, the costumes and staging. I wear hearing aids and was able to hear all the dialogue despite the fact they do not use microphones. I guess partly due to good projection by the actors and partly due to the acoustics in the valley between the hills where the play is offered. You must be careful to plan since it is only offered the first 3 weekends in July.

This is a huge improvement from other similarly priced accomodations in Drumheller. Basic accomodation. The bed was comfortable. There was a table and chairs to do paperwork and eat nicely. The appliances all worked. Most importantly it was CLEAN!! This is an older building exceptionally maintained. Pride of ownership is evident. The motel is located near all amenities by foot or a short drive.

We stayed in the same room that Jackie Chan stayed in for 2 weeks while he was filming Shanghai Noon in 1999! There was a signed poster of him up on the wall of our, very clean, room. Every member of the staff was helpful and very friendly and consistently asked how they could help and how our stay was going. The hotel was well situated for our visit.

Good location, right next to some takeout food places and a supermarket. Room is generous size, hotel looks and feels old but was comfortable. Beds were good. Good view from all rooms. Easy to find also as on main road. Breakfast was suffice and decent enough selection, but doesn't cater for any allergies.
