I liked all of it. Right from the time you check in you feel very comfortable. They let you know where all the amenities are, and what time the pool area closes. The room was spotless clean and the bed was very comfy. The outdoor grounds are very well taken care of and you could find a spot to stretch out and read a book. They also give you 2 complimentary waters and pop.

The town square is under construction but once it done it...

The town square is under construction but once it done it will be great! They have great festivals in the summer! I love the beaches and the biking paths. We enjoy Bayfield for great food and great shopping! We also enjoy the Corvette show in Bayfield and the fireman's breakfast every year. They do great work for the community. Grand bend is not far to visit for a full day at Ontario's best beach!

Downtown is a mess because of construction, but it has to be done in good weather. Restaurants and shopping excellent. Park House & Stacked excellent restaurants. Something Irrestible & Schaeffers very good ladies stores Culberts bakery excellent for cream puffs

Beautiful beaches and sunsets are a must see.

Beautiful beaches and sunsets are a must see. We also enjoyed the Behind the Bars tour of the Huron Historic Gaol, Steve and Mary's on the square for breakfast, the River Run restaurant for dinner and the arts and crafts festival on the square.

We went do do some walking in the woods.

We went do do some walking in the woods. There are lots of trails up there and it is beautiful. The town is pleasant to putter in. We visited in fall and it was only 6 degrees so cannot comment on the beaches. Many of the restaurants are not open at this time of year so not a lot of choice for dinner.

Goderich is a beautiful little town.

Goderich is a beautiful little town. I was there for the Celtic Roots festival, which was excellent as usual ( apart from a torrential downpour on the last night!). The people are very friendly and helpful. There's a couple of great places for breakfast, and there are a number of historic sites worth visiting at least once.

Goderich is a quiet and quant village with beautiful beaches and trails! It is a very welcoming and clean town with many great amenities. There is good shopping, many nice restaurants and things to do. The sunsets are amazing! It is an ideal summer get away location!

The location was on the outskirts of Goderich. Kitchenette was well equipped, two burner stove, stainless kitchen sink, as well as kettle, coffee maker, and microwave. Internet worked well, as did Television. There was also a new gas bbq outside for guests to use. I enjoyed a quiet undisturbed sleep.

The hotel is located within minutes by car from the Historic dowtown Golderich, to us it was a plus as we travelled with the dog and a nice trail along the Maitland river was just what we need to walk him.
