We made our own breakfast, in a well equipped kitchen. Coffee and treats for a local bakery were provided. Everything was clean and modern with nice decorations. Instructions for checking in and out were easily available.

There is a lot of character to the quant little town.

There is a lot of character to the quant little town. Lots of restaurants and people are so friendly We ate at the Station 87. An old fire hall. We met up with some old friends for dinner There was 9 of us. We all enjoyed the delicious food, well presented and the service was excellent. A little expensive, but I do not mind spending a bit more for great food and atmosphere. I would definitely go back again. Then we all went to an amazing concert at the old Meaford Hall. A night of great memories. My only regret is that I wish I could have stayed longer to go through stores and the museum. Next time

Meaford is a hidden gem.

Meaford is a hidden gem. They have the beautiful harbour, walking trails, new library, great shops, restaurants and Meaford Hall with first rate entertainment. If you are lucky to be there on market day check out the local fresh produce, crafts and butter tarts. Check out The Red Door Pub and The Dam Pub for great food. Tilleys has an awesome breakfast and really reasonable. In fact I don't know how they keep their prices so affortable. You can walk everywhere and with the price of gas that is wonderful. We ate well during our stay but we walked off those extra calories. The people around town were amazingly friendly. Be proud Meaford.

It is was Monday so a lot was closed including eating...

It is was Monday so a lot was closed including eating facilities we would have gone to....we went to Thornbury for dinner. I love Meaford and would highly recommend visiting but careful accommodations especially if you have a dog.

The location was perfect Meaford is such a pretty town and the cottage is located right in front of the bay where you can sit in comfort in the two very comfy wicker chairs just looking out at the water. The cottage itself is very comfortable with everything you need and more and the decor is fantastic! The hostess are available when you need them, friendly and helpful. If your looking for a relaxing or more stay I could not recommend this place more it’s just beautiful

The atmosphere and location of the cottage in Meaford were wonderful. Quaint furnishings, and we really enjoyed the rocking chairs for views and relaxing. The bed was comfortable and clean. A comfortable stay for a couple.
