CanadaIt was a great hotel, very clean and met my expectations. The lady at the front desk and the staff wee very helpful and courteous. It was in a quiet area near the main highway. One of the better places I have stayed in for quite some time. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Two separate suites in a straw built house. Lovely and warm in April when temp outside was 10oC.
Relaxing swing seat opposite the rooms.
Hosts were lovely and friendly.
Super comfy double bed with homemade sheets, small kitchen, table and chairs and en-suite bathroom with homemade sink, tiles and towels.
Will Definitely return.

The hosts gave us detailed information before our stay, so that we could make the most of it and knew what we needed to bring. They were accessible to ask questions and got back right away with the answers. We really appreciated that we had netflix and prime as well. Thanks so much! We loved our stay!

My dad was stationed here in the '60s.
My dad was stationed here in the '60s. Know the area well and have been back multi times. Nice city, and the surrounding area has lots to see and do. Great drives along the Trent River/canal system, provincial parks, etc. Lots of scenic spots and history in the area. Let your vehicle take you in and direction and you'd be surprised at what you'll find.

Trenton is a military base, yet what we saw was kind of...
Trenton is a military base, yet what we saw was kind of rundown . There were really nice waterfront parks. There was no real downtown. Most businesses looked shabby. Aside from fast food places, there was no reasonably priced place to have dinner after 6 pm on a Sunday. Lots of Cannabis shops, payday loan places, tattoo parlours if that is your thing.
We were diasappointed that the RCAF Museum was closed on the Sunday we were there. You can get to Prince Edward County and enjoy wine tours very quickly.

The location of the room had some problems being located...
The location of the room had some problems being located right next to the fire door at the end of the hallway. So, we had to listen to the fire door banging every time someone went through. We reported it to the staff on duty but we understood it would have been impossible to have a staff member there every time a client went downstairs. We used ear plugs and got a fair sleep both nights. We would suggest finding a way to dampen the sound with bumpers or something to decrease the noise. We also noticed that the phone didn't work, so the staff replaced it. We were not able to watch movies because the staff said they were 'looking into it' to have the cable fixed. Otherwise the experience was good. Breakfast had a lot of options including our favourite: waffles! We would recommend this location to others looking for a great place to stay overnight. We ate at Golden Valley for lunch with our friends and enjoyed the meal.

Thought I knew what to expect, but the dining scene has...
Thought I knew what to expect, but the dining scene has improved significantly since my last visit. There’s a beautiful riverside patio at Tomasso’s/Jim’s Pizzeria. Jim’s has always had the best pizza, but now you can get fine dining options as well, and a lovely view to boot.

Only place available in the area. I can see why. There must have been a big event in Trenton as all the other hotels and B&B places were fully booked. However, the bed was extremely comfortable.
