This is a wonderful place to stay. Staff was friendly and very accommodating to our visit. The location is tucked away from the city life so it was calm, quiet and peaceful, yet very close to the nearby town for amenities. Views of the mountains and fresh snow were great! Will be staying here for our next visit to Interlaken area.

I usually don’t write reviews for hotels, but this experience truly deserves recognition. Yannick went above and beyond in every possible way. From the moment we arrived, he was exceptionally warm, kind, and friendly—so much so that it felt like he already knew us. His hospitality made us feel instantly at home. What stood out most was his patience and attentiveness. I had many questions throughout our stay, and he always responded with a smile and clear, thoughtful explanations. His professionalism and kindness made a real difference. I also want to mention how welcoming the owner was. I had previously stayed here last year without my mother, and the staff were already very friendly and accommodating. However, during this recent visit—with my mother, who wears a hijab—I was genuinely touched to find that they were even more welcoming and respectful. I had some initial concerns that we might feel out of place, but instead, we were treated with the utmost kindness and warmth. It was a beautiful and reassuring experience that made us feel truly seen and respected. I’m very grateful and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking a welcoming and thoughtful environment.

I recently had an unforgettable stay at this hotel, and I can confidently say it's the best place I've experienced in Switzerland. From the moment I arrived, the managers, Dany and Linda, offered the warmest welcome I've ever received, making me feel like part of the family rather than just a guest. The hotel exudes a cozy atmosphere, filled with delightful aromas that enhance the overall experience. Its location is simply stunning, perched above the clouds and just a 15-minute bus ride to Interlaken West Station. On clear days, the views of Lake Thun are breathtaking, and the sunsets are nothing short of magical. At night, the starry sky is extraordinary due to the minimal light pollution—truly a sight to behold. Breakfast was another highlight, featuring a variety of delicious options, including plenty of vegetarian choices. I can’t recommend this hotel enough; it’s the perfect blend of comfort, stunning scenery, and warm hospitality. I can’t wait to return in the spring to swim in the beautiful lakes of Thun and Brienz. A huge thank you to Dany and Linda for making my stay so special!

The hotel is great, everything was perfect. The View is amazing 🤩 I willl post some special lake view videos on Google Maps. The stuff are so friendly and helpful. I would love to thank the manager Mr. Sebastian for his kindness, and Ms. Sibylle for her helping while we were staying at the hotel. I also need to express my deep expressions to Mr. Fernando who is one of the SPA stuff for his lovley dealing, Fernando is very friendly with the hotel guests.

Gunten is the perfect location from which one can do very many adventurous day trips, on the lake by ship, or with public transport or personal car. The city of Thun is gorgeous, Interlaken and Spiez, as well as Brienz and Iseltwald are near! The castles of Oberhofen, Thun, Hünegg, Schadau, Spiez, etc are nearby and well worth a visit! The Beatus Caves are also close by! Or if you prefer the mountains… The Niederhorn is easily accessible, so is the NIesen; it’s not far to Grindelwald, the Top of Europe, the First, kleine Scheidegg, etc. Then there is Wengen, Lauterbrunnen, the Schilthorn (007), etc etc Very close to the Park Hotel is Sigriswil with it‘s breathtaking views from the Panoramabridge (320m long, 182 m high). For the lovers of the series „Crashlanding on you“, many locations where scenes were filmed are also very easy accessible!

Lovely lake side location.

Lovely lake side location. Very quiet and peaceful but 8 year old granddaughter felt very comfortable with lots to do. Staff very helpful with our travel party of 2 seniors, 2 adults , 8 year old and 6 month old. Local bus service outside the door to Thun and Interlaken made it easy to get around…also complimentary bus tickets available from the hotel. Very small rocky beach but still managed to get some lake swimming in. Grandaughter loved looking for sea glass. Restaurant good with lots of choices. Loved sitting outside with the lake and mountains all around.

Friendly manager, Perfect view, excellent breakfast, and a welcoming spot for pet lovers, including cats and goats. There's parking available behind the building. The house is old but charming—definitely not for luxury hotel seekers, but perfect for nature lovers and those who appreciate a more laid-back, tolerant atmosphere. Highly recommended! very close to Panoramabrücke Sigriswil.

Beautiful location on Lake Thun and beside the ferry terminal and bus stop. Hotel was old style and elegant with large rooms and high ceilings. Bathroom was spacious and well equipped. Some nice little restaurants and a small supermarket close by
