The cae gate guy with the gold teeth was so pleasant and welcoming. The Front desk girl was kind and helpful and the waiters were also kind.

We enjoyed our short stay at the Hotel Guanacaste Lodge and liked everything about it! Ana was very courteous and helpful at check-in and provided us with useful information regarding sites in the area. The staff were professional and friendly. The included breakfast was very good with excellent coffee. The grounds and cabins are maintained well, and the lodge has a very cozy and family-friendly vibe. The hotel has secure parking and is very quiet and peaceful during evening hours. Hotel Guanacaste Lodge suited our purposes perfectly. We will certainly recommend this hotel to others and will return to it when we are in the Playa Flamingo area.

Quaint place with cute cottage like rooms, super large pool and restaurant on site. Very convenient to beach and Tamarindo. We enjoyed our stay. Wonderfully priced. So much better than the all inclusive resort we came from.

New, modern, stylish, clean, very wonderful and friendly owner and all employees too! Great location. Nice little balconies with table and chairs off rooms, beautiful views of ocean from rooftop lounging area.

Walking distance to the marina. Nice views of the bay. Parking close to the rooms. Large rooms with plenty of space.

The place was in good condition and it was exactly as it looked in the pictures, some places use pictures where the place looks better than in reality but this wasn't the case and we loved the place. Susan is really friendly and willing to help you with questions you might have. It is located a few blocks from Potrero beach and restaurants in town and close to other more beautiful beaches like Brasilito, Conchal and Puerto Viejo. For sure you will want to visit them too. The room had everything we needed, I can't give feedback about the small kitchen because we didn't use it but it seemed good enough. This was our first time there and we highly recommend Mar y Posa. It is safe and calm if you want to relax, I bet you will like it.

The breakfast was phenomenal! The hosts provided fruits with yogurt and granola, coffee, juice, and then the second course of breakfast was different kinds of breads/croissants with jellies and then eggs!

The place looks so much better in person! Pictures are nice but don’t do it justice! Loved it so much I extended my stay. Only .3 miles from the restaurant area with a cafe, mini mart and a few restaurants on the next block. Pools are warm and I appreciated the second salt water pool! Breakfast was yummy too! Super quiet and serene. Not really a party villa at all but would stay again!

The staff to include the manager and people working the bar and kitchen were great!
