I really cannot say enough nice things about this hotel and the staff. I had a great room (room 402) overlooking the southern end of town. The room had a microwave and a small refrigerator. The nice lady at reception was kind enough to provide a coffee maker for me as well. The room is quite large (it was a few Euro more, but well worth it!) and it has three windows. The electric Rolladen was very nice to have. The service was spot-on. I was left alone unless I needed assistance and assistance was graciously provided when I required it.

Getting the keys and into the garage was pretty easy due to the good and clear instructions the host left. The apartment was in a great and convenient location, and although it was a holiday weekend so a lot of restaurants were closed, there is a pizza place right next to the apartment that was open and had good food! The apartment was clean and quiet. The host answered questions right away if there was an issue. I definitely recommend this place to stay!

Cute town but pretty economically depressed.

Cute town but pretty economically depressed. The military base is the only thing happening there. No restaurants or bars open and seems like nobody lives there. Streets are pretty empty during the day. Very strange experience. If you have business at the base it's fine but this is not a place to stay as a tourist.

Baumholder is more than military installation.

Baumholder is more than military installation. The area is great for sight seeing. Local food and activities are walking distance but some are a short bus or train ride away (+/- 30min distance). Go and explore the area!

It’s in a perfect location. located in the town of Baumholder it’s in eyes view of the military base and the train station. The lady that I spoke with was so nice. She was extremely helpful when I was trying to figure out transportation to Frankford she even printed out the train station times.

Family owned with friendly staff, newly renovated rooms and nice breakfast. The owner Sigi had a birthday cake ready at the breakfast table for my husband. Such a special place in Baumholder. We will always stay here.
