Magical location right in the middle of a lot of hiking trails. The hotel is very unique but also extremely comfortable and surprisingly modern. The room we stayed in was very big, extremely clean and had a lot of natural light. The morning buffet was great, with a bit of everything! The staff was very accommodating. Despite the language barriers we encountered, we got answers to all our questions and support with everything.

Amazing location to explore the Mullerthal Trails and the nearby Grun Holle. Beautiful mossy forrests. Great amenities including sauna and indoor pool. Friendly and efficient staff. I would have loved a week here.

Bollendorf is in a nice setting but the town has few facilities, and speaking to locals it appears much of the tourist business has been damaged by a combination of COVID lockdowns and the devastating floods in 2021.

The hotel is basically a repurposed castle and is situated in a quiet part of the town on a hill. Thus the place breaths history and has a lot of character. It's a good starting place to discover the area by car. Breakfast was really nice, there was a lot of choice. The restaurant was also OK.

We are visiting from Australia and highly recommend Waldhotel to all travellers. The facilities are exceptional with comfort cleanliness a priority. The staff all spoke English and were focused on our experience being of utmost importance. Hopefully we can return again. Thank you

It's a lovely family hotel at a perfect location overlooking the river and very close to all the hiking routes in the area. It's a real bonus that hotel has a spa and a pool. Food options are very limited especially for those with dietary restrictions.

The hotel is well situated, close to Echternach and Berdorf, from where you can do magnificent walks. Plenty of free parking. Rooms were large, clean and they make up the bed every day ! Extensive breakfast buffet.
