I am quite familiar with KW, as it is generally known.

I am quite familiar with KW, as it is generally known. In early April ( my most recent trip) it hadn't quite opened up for visitors. But in the season, there are boat trips, historical tours at the Schloss ( quite interesting castle in the centre) and music events. The Museum is close to the centre and traces the local history from ancient times to the DDR and afterwards. Well worth a visit! There is a small cinema with an interesting programme but, usually, just one performance per day. There are a lot of info posters near the canal/ waterway ( and elsewhere in the town) and there are proper lakes nearby. Walks by the water and in the nearby forest are very pleasant, but, sadly, not a large selection of birds, though I did see a kingfisher in the park. near the castle. The restaurants all seem a bit expensive but there are several fast food places and ice cream parlours! These are usually close to the rather attractive children's play areas near the centre or along the waterway. There are some small specialist shops - bookshop, bike shops, clothes shops, but the big supermarkets are mostly a bit out of town. Travelling around is quite easy and bike tours/ routes are well- marked. You can get to Berlin Alexanderplatz in 25 -30 minutes and so be in the Museum district in 35 minutes. Most trains to Berlin are hourly as is the direct route to Potsdam via BER. So, all in all, a pleasant place for a quietish week, with several possible excursions nearby.

We all spent quality time together which only happens twice a year. Connecting as a family is very important to us, we all enjoyed each others company. We are still very close as a family and these breaks are just what we all need.

The whole property is extremely neat and the apartment is outstanding. Chickens walk freely in the yard, which reminds me of my childhood at my grandparents' house. Our reason for the trip was to visit Berlin, with which Königs Wusterhausen is well connected by S-bahn, and in combination with the metro, we are in the center of Berlin in less than an hour. All in all, an exceptional experience and the hosts are commendable.

You will find cosy, modern, and newly renovated apartments in the guest house. The owner is a really kind and helpful person. The accomodation is 10 minutes walk from the train station, wherefrom you can get to Berlin in 25 minutes or to the airport in 15 minutes by direct regional trains, or you can take the frequent S-Bahn. Königs Wusterhausen is a really intimate and quiet small town with really nice locals.

Location walking distance from the town and local bars and restaurants was good. Even better, the station is nearby for really easy access to the centre of Berlin. The hotel was clean and rooms spacious. Breakfast was really good. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect position for Zeesen - Königs Wusterhausen. Very close to the airport, easy parking available immediately. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. They offered us the breakfast.
