The hotel room was very nice, freshly renovated. Breakfast was nice. Staff was friendly at reception, at breakfast and most of all: at checkout. We were hiking with backpack, weather was not good at all and she gave some usefull tips for our day.

Everything was clean and looked brandnew. Especially the breakfast was really good! The staff very friendly. You can buy nice wine for just 10 euros a bottle an drink it in the little garden or in your room. There is no restaurant, but there are other places in the small town. All in all, a great stay!

Everything. Located in a very peaceful and spectacular environment. The staff was superb. They were always friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The room was spacious, big, and incredibly comfortable. The room was also well-equipped with everything I needed, and the amenities were top-notch. I also had the pleasure of dining at the hotel’s restaurant, and the food was absolutely delicious. The menu offered a great variety of options, and the service was exceptional. The staff was always attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend it.

Great location on the Moselle River.

Great location on the Moselle River. Good for hiking and biking along the river or through the vineyards. But it lacks the picturesque looks of some of the more famous Moselle towns. Although it is much much quieter if you want to avoid the crowds. Close enough to historic Trier which is easily rachable bicycle or car. Albeit there’s no bicycle hire placee in town at the time of writing. The closest cycling shop is in Schweich.

Mehring is a little village at the Mosel river with an ancient Roman villa, catholic church, a few restaurants and little shops. There also are a bakery, small supermarket, and off course: a lot of wine shops. Mehring is a strategic place for people who like to explore the Mosel region; between Bernkastel-Kues and Trier

Cute town with some restaurants and bars.

Cute town with some restaurants and bars. It has a supermarket with a bakery inside but the town has its own bakery as well. All in all a nice quiet little town. You do need a bike or car to get to sightseeing places. In the direct vicinity there are some Roman ruins. Also from the riverside there are multiple paths for taking long hikes.

Very nice guesthouse with great location in the village of Mehring on the river Mosel. Good starting point for walks in the hills and riverside of the Mosel valley. Very clean room and property, we had a room with a balcony and the beds are super comfortable, lovely breakfast with a view to the vineyard, very friendly owners. Coffee and tea making facilities free of charge outside breakfast hours, honesty bar with a good choice of local wines, beers and soft drinks as well as snacks. Only to be recommended!

Rooms are nice and clean. It's very quiet in the hotel. Considering the low price for the one person bed room, it's a wonderful place to stay. Sufficient parking space. They serve a continental breakfast with your choice of eggs freshly made. A good Italian restaurant is within walking distance. And in the next town (approx. 6-7 km) they have a few more places to eat. Also a good Italian and a few kebab houses. I can definitely recommend this hotel.

Very nice place to stay in Mehring. The owner and staff in general is super friendly. It is also possible to eat dinner in the evening (same room as where breakfast is served). The breakfast is very complete and offers great value for money! The terrace is a very nice "hidden gem" and you can enjoy a cold beer or Mösel wine here.

Really nice room with a small balcony. The hotel is directly along the river. Really practical if you travel by bike with a roofed courtyard at night to leave your bike.
