Everything, everything was great! The staff is very nice, the place is incredibly romantic and cozy. It was very clean and everything the owners did was done with love. I really hope to have the opportunity to stay there again.

I love and have been looking for a small, family run, unique place to stay, where I could also get good homestyle, German meal and found exactly that at Gasthof Mayd. The venue is a very charming vintage but wonderfully upgraded with fast access to the Autobahn and connecting sight seeing cities (Nuernberg and Bamberg). The team is so welcoming and friendly, going out and above their way to accommodate. They’ve even organized a little fridge to put into my room, to keep medication cooled. If you have enough of big, fancy, international hotel chains and would like a personal, small, local experience, I recommend this place.

The size of the room was great. Check in was super easy. The reception was incredibly helpful. The spa!!! The spa was really nice, sauna and steam especially. It's located right next to the hotel portion. There's an attached restaurant with vegan options. You get 2 bottles of water upon arrival. The parking was great, nestled in a really scenic backlot. Getting to the village was amazingly scenic.

The room and bathroom were large. Hotel itself was quiet and there was a fantastic restaurant for dinner. Breakfast was sufficient and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommend the restaurant for dinner - some of the finest food I've had in a long time. Was burger and ribs night (cute that they call them "Rips") - looked delicious, but I opted for the fish and it was fantastic.

One of the most charming hotels I had the chance to visit. Perfect for a overnight stay or to relax an explore nearby. The breakfast is an attraction itself. The restaurant is very cozy and the food was delicious. You really feel at home :)

It was close to where I was going daily and felt very cozy and comfortable.

Everything was great, easy to book, such unique and technological experience. We loved the food too!

I came really late and I asked for some snacks. There were no snacks, but the staff literally just went into the kitchen and brought me a ton of croissants :) Also I must note that in my room, the blanket was folded very originally, it was very convenient for me to use (first time I saw this approach). Finally, I had an amazing night sleep, especially, given my late arrival. In the morning at the breakfast we even made some jokes about me finally getting some proper food :D

Everything! The hotel and the room are great! Staff was very polite and proffessional. And the breakfast is a delight. And they have bar open until 00.00

We did not buy breakfast, just a pot of coffee "to go" but it looked very good!

Lovely place have stayed many times breakfast was not good this time though

The rooms are small but with all the essentials to make your stay comfortable. It is super clean & the most professional & helpful staff! The receptionist went above & beyond to share necessary information on how to navigate the city. Breakfast is included & it is just fine. It's a small hotel, but convenient even for a longer stay. It is a good value for money. Location us excellent. Although it is just in front of the train station, it is quite, clean & safe!

The room is spacious and comfortable. I was traveling alone and had a queen size bed (not a twin bed one usually gets when one books a single room in Germany). The location is great. Just 5 minutes from the train station and right in the heart of the shopping street. The brasserie looks great too. Nice inside and outside seating area and the menu looks good. (I did not eat there). Very nice staff.

Its cleaniness,Comfortable beds,the TV set opposite the bed,the balcony and the bathroom was warm and clean. Of course, there is always somewhere to park outside no matter how big your car is.
