We stayed one night at Das Stein in Amerang as a stopover with the family, and it couldn’t have been better. The warm Bavarian hospitality made a lasting impression – from the genuinely friendly staff to the delicious, traditional food. Even for a short stay, it felt cozy and welcoming. A great bonus: the hotel is just a short walk from the EFA Mobile Zeiten museum, which is a must-visit for car enthusiasts. A perfect mix of comfort, charm, and convenience. Highly recommended, even for a quick stop!

Everything was lovely. The gentleman who checked me in could have cracked a smile and been more gracious but the staff/owner the next day were super lovely and made up for his grumpiness. The place is fascinating, clean, location amazing and all in all it was a good overnight stay. The Vietnamese restaurant in the nearby village was exceptional and a really unexpected find.

Clean, comfortable, well-equipped and centrally located to all the places we wanted to visit. The host was most gracious and thoughtfully left us a jar of homemade plum jam. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect for the two families. The rural setting was very peaceful.
