This was a lovely hotel in a perfect setting. This area is beginning to open up to tourism and as a result the staff was warm and welcoming, eager to make sure we had a great stay.

My mother and I were traveling through Vorpommern, which is where her family is from, and needed a place near Luckow. It's a bit rare that one would need that, but we were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It's location is ideal for someone who wants to be a little more remote and a quiet stay/holiday, but within easy car or bike distance from the lagoon/sea. There are several great bike paths within the front door and it's near Ueckermuende. The hotel is family run, which is noticable in all the small details, but it's also very well managed and was clean and everything thought of/taken care of. The breakfast was wonderful, taken in a beautiful winter garden where one could also have dinner, if one wanted. We met Peter, one of the hotel ownners, and had a great conversation. Very nice and thoughtful, quick to respond to requests and able to answer questions about the area and options.
