I needed a rest from too much walking in Amsterdam and Berlin so on a hope to Munich we decided to rest in this smaller village. Lovely setting, easy to find, great breakfast, friendly staff and townsfolk. This is a resort village but it was off season. Charming is the only word that comes to mind.

Excellent location on an exit from A9. Easy to find, easy to park. Excellent room condition - new, spacious, cozy, equipped with a big fridge, stove, etc. Automated checking in and opening the room from the app works perfectly fine. Despite closeness to the highway, it is very quiet for a good sleep.

o Nice cozy spot nestled in a nook. o Like that the host took kindly to our pets even befriended us soon as we arrived. o Very clean could tell by the smell, the fragrance was welcoming, THEY cleaned! o Stayed 3 days 2 nights o Not expensive and the host was honest even returning an over charge back to us, would stay again if we was back near in the Kulmbach area

This is a good quality versus cost hotel. It is a little pricey for the average or younger traveller maybe but has good size rooms, a good restaraunt( The steak and crepes were excellent) spa and is very near walking areas. The staff are professional and helpful. The outside terrace area and view from the hotel are beautiful and sitting there with a relaxing drink or over lunch is a great way to wind down. Check-in was easy and efficient.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel with several positive aspects worth mentioning. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent, making it easy to access local attractions. Additionally, the breakfast offered was ample and satisfying.

Perfect place to stay and relax after a long road. The sauna and pool are especially nice. I like the old-fashioned design of the hotel, it creates a special cozy atmosphere. There is a Tesla destination charger and chargers for EV vehicles (both is paid however)

Everything was excellent. Everyone was super kind for us. Breakfasts were excellent. Hotel is near some forest tracks and hiking routes. Beautiful place. Strongly recommended :)
