It's clean, staff is tremendous. They went way, way out of their way to help arrange a car when most rental companies on the island were sold out. I'd stay here again. It's safe, quiet, supper was great.

I had the pleasure of spending the WCMF 2025 weekend at Tim & Mags place in the peaceful community of Laudat. I could not have asked for better hosts, they were absolutely amazing. The space was cozy and comfortable. Because of its location you felt like you were in the heart of the rainforest. Although about a 15 minute drive away from the capital city, you will be close to alot of the attractions. Feel free to discuss meal and tour options with them as they are very flexible and accommodating. I had the pleasure of Tim & Mag take me to a few sites within the area on Sunday, and let me tell you, i felt like i was on a guided tour with Dominica Tourism Officials. If you're looking for a sign to book with them this is it. You will not regret.

The city of Roseau itself was not very big, but you can explore the island of Dominica with rich nature and culture from this city. I joined a tour to visit gorge, waterfalls, hot spring spa and Champagne Reef, and it was really good! I hope I had more time to visit Kalinago, museum (it was closed on weekends) and other places.

I liked that everyone is so willing to guide you where you need to go and the bus will drop you where you ask them too usually or direct your path. The people are friendly and helpful which made it easy for me to get around. I ate at Pearl cuisine where I had a delicious and wholesome fish broth. Next door I was directed to Pure Bliss where I had a very good massage, so I booked another for next week. I ate at Italia opposit whitchuch building. Delicious fish meal, lots of variety local dishes. I took the bus to Portmouth and had the boat ride on the indian river. It was a relaxing and enjoyable, although I was alone I felt quite safe as my experienced guide pointed out the white crabs,ect.. and plants/flowers of interest. Another guide who was off duty with her 3 year old daughter, joined my boat on my way back.

Roseau- we are older adult travelers (60+) fit & agile. We rented a car for our stay. Not for the faint of heart right hand drivers of the USA- who do not regularly drive in traffic. Streets are tight and very little room to walk about the city. The Botanical gardens and Jack’s walk were nice. The museum is very informative. When cruise ships are in port it can be crowded- However the Dominican people are incredibly kind and friendly. We did not stay in Roseau proper- we stayed in an area called Castle comfort- much quieter.For us, Roseau was a city we had to travel through to get to destinations like Tralfagar falls, Titou Gorge and Freshwater Lake.

Beautiful, wonderful accommodating people. Pleasant surroundings in each area . K F C, chinese food from Panda, as well as Family Chinese restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay. We visited / worked in Roseau, Canefield & Portsmouth.

Roseau is a pretty laid back city.

Roseau is a pretty laid back city. There are still a lot of old structures. I think that as the capital there needs to be more development. Walking the streets alone felt safe. I notice two things that need improvement. The bus need to have a route banner and the license plates needs to be colour coated to tell Taxi apart from minibuses. I like the ice cream on the port front near the museum. As a solo travel, it's expensive to sightsee and taxi Fare is pretty high. Better to travel with a group. This saves on cost.

Roseau is the capital, so you get the cruise ship crowds, but there are lots of places to see within walking distance. The local restaurant scene is somewhat disappointing, but the natural beauty of the island is outstanding. Trafalgar falls, Emerald Lake, Freshwater lake, Titou Gorge are all wihtin a 1 hour drive from Roseau.

What a nice place and welcome..During 3 days we enjoyed being helped in our choices of visit thanks to Philip whos is really proud of its island and expert of it. We also definitly enjoyed with the delicious meal Connie is able to prepare for you for the dinner. Many thanks to them. The house is situated really close to Roseau centre 15mn but with the benefit to be far enough in moutain side to have a very good air and view and calm.

The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. The view was incredible and the pool relaxing and very clean. We didn't hire a car, but we are fit enough to walk up the very steep roads to get to the property and also happy to walk to Roseau. Rob was very helpful when we needed to book a taxi to the airport.

We really enjoyed staying at Ginette's place. It's very close to Roseau but in complete nature. The house is resourceful and if you pay attention you will see hummingbirds and agoutis. Our host was absolutely amazing, she took care of the rental car and booked us a guide to the Boiling Lake Hike.
