The town location was fantastic and the rooms were very clean and modern. Only downside was that the stores and restaurants close so early and open so late. It was hard to make the most of our time there with shortened hours of operation.

The Eco Avocado Lodge was a welcome oasis after several weeks of city travel. The grounds were lovely, the breakfast was exceptional, and the people we interacted with were delightful. The lodge owners went above and beyond; they arranged a horse ride for my daughter, made a fire for us to enjoy in the evenings, and shared many travel recommendations. This place is from a fairy tale. An hour from Mindo and hour from Quito. 30 mins from center of Earth latitude 0 0 0. If you are going or coming back from Mindo & not staying atleast 1-2 nights you have made the biggest mistake of your trip. Location is from the heavens. The view words or pics can’t describe it. The apartment is exceptional when it comes to detail , crafting of furniture , presentation and a very European modern look. The establishment is extremely clean and well maintained. There is plenty of seating areas within and on the exterior of the apartment. The touches from Patricia and her husband on decorations are every where you turn. Breakfast was first class with multiple options. The town is so cute and there are some nice trails with unimaginable views of the landscaping , mountains and local animals. The host are very caring and nice. Their passion and dedication shows in every corner. And in every conversation.
