I was truly amazed by this wonderful hotel. Nice location in the center, just next to the beautiful castle, in reasonable walking distance from the bus station (and also the local airport). The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was fully ok, with heating and a nice bathroom. The SPA is included and it's really perfect. I enjoyed it a lot. Also the breakfast was excellent. It's hard to imagine what to still improve (except for the SPA opening hours).

Very nice and stylish hotel. Restaurant is good but bit pricy (like everywhere in Estonia in 2025). Breakfast is OK. Nice views from rooms, lobby and resto. Room was spacious, clean and fresh. Nice artwork posters on the walls. Staff is friendly and helpful. Gym nicely equipped. SPA is very cosy, nice saunas and and pools!

Angela. At the front desk was wonderful.She would even help me bring in my bicycle when I returned at night. She even let me borrow on her own blankets. I was sad to leave and wish I could have said goodbye to her.

Beautiful small city by the sea.

Beautiful small city by the sea. Great food, good prices, clean air, chatty people. Museum in the castle needs three hours or more for a serious visit. A must for fans of castles and mediaeval architecture in general.

Kuressaare is a beautiful, calm and very green town.

Kuressaare is a beautiful, calm and very green town. From the yacht harbor Roomassaare you can make sailboat trip to various places like the Abruga island. We had dinner twice at the Castello - liked it a lot - once at the Veski and once at the hotel restaurant but unfortunately did not get place at the old part of the hotel. It is easy to get around at Kuressaare, and one of the main attractions, the castle, is just a couple of hundred meters from the Arensburg hotel.

We visited for a very short family trip.

We visited for a very short family trip. Town was getting ready for Christmas celebrations and looked very festive. Went to see town center, also walked around the castle. On the way back to mainland stopped to see the Kaali crater. Definitely worth coming back in the summer to explore more of the town and the island.

The best place to stay in as there are many restaurants and cafes and we also caught the opera festival which was a really great added value. Sareemaa can be easily discovered from Kuressaare. The museum in the castle thoroughly describes Sareemaa’s history.

Probably the thing that stood out most for me was the medieval castle with it's impressive walls. Spent a lot of time wandering them late at night with friends. The city centre is also quite cozy.

Lovely small quiet town.

Lovely small quiet town. Visited some great bakeries - Böns and Vanalinna kohvik! Great playgrounds for children in the city center, also kindergarden playgrounds are free to use for everybody over the weekend!

The spa and pools looked great, the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, the location is pretty central and a handy walk to the bus station. Unfortunately a massive downpour started just after I arrived, and the streets right beisde the hotel were flooded so we needed to decamp, but the staff were as helpful as they could be in difficult circumstances and I would definitely try it another time.

It was a pleasant surprise to see the Champagne and a fruit plate in our room welcoming us, which made our anniversary experience more special. Everything was very nice, comfy and good value for money. The breakfast was delicious and there were a lot of options to choose from! The hotel is located near the seaside/ harbour area and a 5-10 min walk to the historical Kuressaare castle.

I liked the location itself. Hotel is located just near Kuressaare Castle 50 meters away. Very convenient place for exploring the castle museum and nearby areas. Breakfast is served in very cozy way and made of local island ingredients. Personally would prefer slightly more modern room. Staff is very friendly and supportive.

Great location, plenty of parking space, next to the stores, restaurants. Room is clean. We realized that we have to leave very early the next day, but the hotel administrator on short notice managed to arrange that we still get some breakfast and coffee before leaving. We really appreciate that!
