The welcoming by the staff was refreshing after a long trip, I was friendly received and my room was immaculate and no ask was too small for the staff. They went out of their way to make it my home away from home! Pool attendance was super relaxed with staff catering for all your needs. I'll not think twice about staying again!

El Juneina is a beautiful, secluded villa that’s not far from Valley of the Kings. The cottages are spacious, comfortable, and private. There’s a beautiful swimming pool in the centre of the property. The staff is very welcoming and caters to guests’ requests. The one restaurant has a set menu with very reasonable prices; and they will cook the meals according to the guests’ schedules. Visitors can sit at the outdoor tables or bring their food into their units. I was only there for one night, however the meal that I ordered was cooked to perfection, and there was an abundance of food for one person. The bed was quite comfortable and the stained glass in the windows, give a unique look to each cottage. The villa is in an area outside the city, and there is a farm directly behind it. You will hear animals from the farm on occasion.

It's very difficult to find a place where you truly feel like you're with your family, especially for my husband and me because we move frequently. However, I highly recommend this place in Luxor to anyone looking for excellent people, particularly the manager, Mahmoud. He's incredibly polite and respectful and always willing to help. Honestly, this place is beautiful and deserves a much higher rating than others on Booking.com. The breakfast was also delicious. I loved this place and will definitely return.

It's a must to visit place.

It's a must to visit place. The Valley of the king, a must see site for everyone. The Museum of mummification was also very interesting. The Luxor city itself was unfortunately a negative experience for us. Too many haggling and interruptions made it very uncomfortable to walk by the river. We had to spend all evenings in our hotel rooms as going outside felt unsafe with too many people approaching to force you to buy something or take you for a ride etc. We didn't see any nice restaurant by the river to sit and enjoy the view. There are back to back large ships parked by the river completely blocking the view and polluting the environment with gasoline smell.

Luxor is a great city.

Luxor is a great city. Lots of tourists visit there, but it still feels like a country town. Everything is very close to the Nile, so life centers around the river and you always have water views. All the tombs and main attractions are only a few minutes away from your hotel.

Luxor is truly an open-air museum and one of the most extraordinary places I've ever visited. Walking through Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, the Valley of the Kings, and the magnificent temples on the West Bank feels like stepping back more than 3,000 years into the heart of ancient Egyptian civilization. The preservation of the temples, the vibrant colors still visible inside some of the tombs, and the sheer scale of the monuments are beyond imagination

Luxor is a very beautiful and historic city with many incredible temples and archaeological sites. However, I would recommend not trying to fit too much into one day. It’s much better to visit one major site early in the morning and then plan lighter activities afterward, as it becomes extremely hot by late morning, making places like the Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens quite difficult to explore comfortably. There are a lot of temples and historical attractions, but overall not a huge variety of activities beyond the sites, the Nile, and dining. I stayed for four nights, which felt slightly long at times, but also gave me enough time to take things slowly and rest between excursions. The city itself is very charming and culturally rich, and the people are generally friendly. However, the level of haggling is quite intense—more so than in other parts of Egypt I visited—which can be overwhelming at times. Overall, a very memorable and beautiful destination, especially for history and culture, but it’s best enjoyed at a slower pace.

This was probably the nicest hotel during our trip to Egypt. Unfortunately, we only stayed there for one night and left very early for the airport. So unfortunately we couldn't use any of the amenities or try the breakfast. The rooms were very clean and the bathroom had a “wellness shower” with many functions. The whole hotel makes a very good impression. If we were to travel to Luxor again in the relatively near future, we would book this hotel again and hopefully be able to enjoy a good breakfast and other amenities.

The people from the hotel are excellent and very kind! They helped us a lot in organizing the activities we wanted to do without asking for anything in return, which is rare in Egypt! The room was very big, clean, in a quiet location with a view! The breakfast was quite good and overall we had a very pleasant stay! If we visit Luxor again, we will definitely stay there again! I highly recommend! Keep up the good work!
