Alhama is a lovely area to stay its peaceful but close to...

Alhama is a lovely area to stay its peaceful but close to lots of activities included Murcia city, Cartagena, Mazarron and Sierra Espuna national park. Id recommend hiring a car to get around and driving is a pleasure the roads are so easy and you can usually find parking lots. If you want a nice beach day in Mazarron put Las Gredas de Bolnuevo in the sat nav and there is a free car park right by the monument and its opposite the beach. Its also a great place to park and then walk up the mountain for some amazing views. Condado de Alharma the golf resort is a nice gated complex to stay on and if you didnt want to go anywhere it has pools, shops and restaurants but if you do have a car then consum supermarket is a 5 minute drive. The cathedral in Murcia is stunning well worth a trip and Cartagena has a lovely harbour to walk round, nice churches, roman ruins and a naval museum. Plenty to do for everyone family and couples.

Love it so much we have purchased a holiday home there due to complete in July 2025. Loved the bars and the friendly staff working in them who were all so helpful with advice and numbers for people to help us with things throughout our purchase . Can’t wait to integrate here during our many visits with the friendly people we encountered

This resort is perfect if you're looking for a chilled out...

This resort is perfect if you're looking for a chilled out holiday. I would highly recommend hiring a car during your stay to venture out a bit, especially if your staying more than 1 week as the entertainment bars and restaurants are a bit limited and the on site supermarket is priced slightly higher than others a short drive away in Campasol, however they are working on some really nice upgrades to the Al Kasar which will be finished for 2025. Most of the staff are very nice and attentive, but there were a selected few that didn't serve us well. I would definitely go again. I would also recommend Military Cars for car hire, the guys are extremely helpful, polite and informative about local attractions and the cars are very reasonably priced and good on fuel. They also do airport transfers. The Clover Bar is the most lively, the Bakoa Bar is more peaceful but also has entertainment. The best restaurant in our opinion is LaCopa as it is fairly priced and the food has never disappointed.

The apartment was absolutely perfect for the 2 of us.

The apartment was absolutely perfect for the 2 of us. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The bed we slept in was super comfortable. The kitchen space works well, along with the lounge area too. Great views from the roof terrace of the mountains and the gardens, which are very well kept and looked after. The apartment was great value for money. The booking with the owner/s so easy to deal with, they were friendly and responded really quickly. We would definitely book the beautiful apartment again, if it was available ☺️

Alhama de Murcia is really only the main town in the area.

Alhama de Murcia is really only the main town in the area. People would not be visiting the town; but the surrounding area of the Sierra de Espuña is the main attraction in the region - fantastic scenery, activities, wildlife and birdlife.

A pleasant established hotel, ideally located for our 2 night stay. Very friendly and efficient staff. Excellent sized room, suitably furnished including 2 large double beds & a well maintained bathroom with all the facilities including a large walk in shower. Convenient access for all our festival activities in a safe and friendly town. We already knew the area but Maps and information provided by the hotel reception were an added bonus when the Tourist Office was closed.

We went for a wee break and found the hotel very good, staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was very good and cooked to order. Many hiking trails close by to suit many levels. The staff made sure that your stay was enjoyable. We will definitely be back.

We have a family apartment in alhama de murcia so remted this as well to have family over. Loved how close it was to condardo club and the pool. Id rent this apartment again. Hosts who met us with a key were lovely.
