A 7,000 Year Old Mediterranean Jewel

Alicante is a beautiful coastal city with a wonderful atmosphere. It has lovely beaches, a charming old town, and a picturesque port. The weather is fantastic, the people are friendly, and there are plenty of great restaurants and cafés. Walking along the promenade and visiting Santa Bárbara Castle are must-do experiences. Alicante is the perfect destination for both relaxation and sightseeing.

Alicante had everything you need for a short or long stay , and it’s easy to travel along the coast using the Tram ,to explore other areas .
Good places to eat , Montiditos for lunch , the old town for dinner , we also ate in Ditalia ( pizza, pasta etc ) always very good .
26 floor of the Gran Sol for drinks and views ,also their restaurant is very good ,have eaten there twice.plus a few roof top bars in the old town, use google to find them .

We really enjoyed our short visit to Alicante to celebrate...
We really enjoyed our short visit to Alicante to celebrate my 60th birthday. It is a beautiful and vibrant city with lovely beaches, a picturesque marina and plenty of places to explore around the city centre. The seafront, Explanada de España and Puerta del Mar were particularly enjoyable and most attractions were within easy walking distance. We also found a good choice of vegetarian and Indian restaurants. Public transport was convenient and reasonably priced, including the C6 airport bus. Overall, Alicante is a welcoming and enjoyable city for a short break, and we would happily visit again in the future.

A good city for travelling, the people speak english and help you when you need something. The bus comes very often and in time. The food it is good and not that expensive. And the centrum looks better in real life

Alicante was a beautiful place to visit.
Alicante was a beautiful place to visit. I loved the beaches, with clear water and where non-swimmers can also walk far into the water. The waves were calm in July. I wouldn't take the Tuk Tuk tour; instead, go to the information center to get a map of the area so you know what to visit.

Easy to get to the centre of Alicante by bus from the airport. So much choice for restaurants, found a corker this time - Restaurante El Olivo - amazing food & service with local wine too. Beach is also lovely, could do with a regular clean up to make it amazing. Water was refreshing 1st thing & warm by the late afternoon! Few too many massagee / pina coladas / lookie lookies on the beach all vying to be heard! Also recommend the rooftop bar at Hospes Amerigo.

Hotel is lovely and quiet. The location is perfect if you don't mind not being right on the beach. There's a little parade of shops nearby and a bus a couple of minutes walk away. You can easily get to Alicante and to St Joan beach from there for €1.45 per trip pee person. Staff are friendly, food is nice and the rooms are clean.
The pool is small and there aren't so many sun loungers, but certainly when we stayed that wasn't an issue as it didn't get at all busy
It's really handy having a fridge in the room too

We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. We had a great furnished balcony overlooking the pool. It had a second pool, gym and Rooftop bar. Room was clean and very comfortable.
Although not in Alicante city centre, it was a quiet area within waking distance to the beach and promenade restaurants. Plenty of restaurants and bars around and a large supermarket. Easy to park on the streets if you don't want to pay for hotel parking. Short walk to tram stop into city centre.

Staff really friendly & helpful, nice pool area, great little bar serving good selection of food & drinks throughout the day & into the evening. Although it's on the outskirts of Alicante & by a main road, there are good & regular bus connections to city centre/beach. Would definitely stay again when visiting family in Alicante.

Outdoor area - the pool was great and the trees and plants were well kept and provided lots of privacy. Location to sandy beach, local bars/cafes and tram station just 10 minutes walk away is very helpful - also easy to get into Alicante city centre or to Benidorm via tram. The immediate neighbourhood is nice and quiet.

Fantastic location, in the historic city centre but at the same time, very well connected with the airport. Hotel surrounded by the best bars and restaurants in town. Very nice breakfasts and amazing coffee. The Staff at the reception has been very nice and helpful.
