The location of the home is great. It’s only about 8-10 minutes walk to the beach. The pool area is also really nice. The bathrooms are modern, clean, and all the showers work really well. The kitchen is well stocked, and the fridge works great.

The place is has the perfect combination of old world charm and modern comfortable amenities that is topped by a super refined taste (either the owners are designers or they hired one) which I do not take for granted when staying at local hotels. The location is perfect for visiting the different calas, being super close to several of them but far enough from the noisy touristy areas. Here is the detailed summary of our experience: FACILITIES: - Let’s start with some of the least common and most appreciated features… The place has an ELEVATOR (and it’s a nice modern one, not the scary type that makes you think twice) so after a long trip you don’t have to carry your suitcases up narrow stairs. In Europe, usually either you have to choose to stay at a large character-less place or you choose character and charm with personalized attention but has to settle for climbing upstairs. Here we got the best of both worlds! - The place has a PARKING lot. Coming from the US most people may take this for granted, but parking in Mallorca tends to be a major hassle - and visiting Mallorca without a car takes half of your travel experience away. - The place is extremely well maintained (looks newly remodeled) and is sparkling clean. The rooms are furnished with HIGH QUALITY mattress, a variety of pillows and high quality linens and towels. There is actual storage enough for two people with a mix of shelving, drawers and hanger spaces. The room we stayed had a double sink in the bathroom area (in fact a separate standing sink with shelves for each guest) a separate *closed door* space for the toilet, HIGH PRESSURE modern shower fixtures and quality shower soap/shampoo/conditioner. - The rooms have beautiful sound proof french doors to the balcony - even though the only noise we heard with the doors open were the birds singing.

What a hidden gem! Our room was in the older (original?) building and we found the unique architecture fascinating. The garden and pool are spectacular, and many little seating areas inside and out are thoughtfully designed for comfort while visiting, sunbathing, reading, etc. Delightful surprises at every turn!

A quiet and peaceful beachside town.

A quiet and peaceful beachside town. Definitely only worth staying if you are renting a car though. The beach is lovely, and the bars & restaurants were great. They do all shut pretty early though.

I had a wonderful 10-day summer stay at Hostal Palmaria in...

I had a wonderful 10-day summer stay at Hostal Palmaria in August. The hotel is in a fantastic location with a beautiful view of Cala Santanyí—we had a patio with a direct view of the beach, and access to the Cala was just a few steps away, which made the experience unforgettable. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the area had everything we needed: a couple of nice restaurants and a small grocery store just nearby. The atmosphere was great, with visitors from Germany, France, Canada, and Spain—it felt lively but still relaxed. The only small downsides were that the beds were a little firm for my taste, and the door locks made some noise late at night when guests were coming in or closing their doors. A bit of soundproofing or updated doors would make it even better. Overall, it was a wonderful place to spend a summer holiday—great people, beautiful setting, and unbeatable location by the sea. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a simple, authentic, and beach-front experience in Mallorca.

NOT WORTH THE DISTANCE, EXPENSIVE FOODS, BAD RESTAURANTES. NO SHOPS. BOOK A SPA FOR 100 , 200 EXTRA AND BE HAPPY . NO TV, NOISE BEACH. NO MARKET, MIDDLE OF NOWHERE... I REGRET... 2 STARS IS A NOPE ... Be in NORTH EAST SPA COUPLES AND MAGALUF OR PALMA SIMGLES . FOR A VIEW 2 HOURS HERE IS ENOUGH DOESNT MEED TO STAY .

Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. I arrived quite late due to the flight delay but they prepare the small dinner for me. It was very pleasant! The hotel is located just on the cliff with fantastic view to the sea bay which is, by the way, one of the most beautiful on the east south coast of Majorka! 5 minutes (max) to walk down to the beach. Food is good and always with verity of dishes for the dinner. The bay, itself, is so beautiful with small nice cafes! But still If you are boring, :( - take the boat trip along the coast, its marvelous. What surprised me: you need to pay for beach towel and for safe at the room, it was unexpected and inconvenient.

It is a naturally beautiful cala, and the sea colour towards the entrance is an amazing blue. The water for swimmers is clean and at some times of the year is clear right up to the beach. Currently, however, guests might be disappointed to find the water they swim in to be a less attractive green colour. There are official boards displayed, explained this is seasonal and not in any way dangerous. Nearby calas with perfect water can be found - the other advantages of Cala Santanyí might outweigh this seasonal blip. Getting to the beach from Pinos Playa hotel takes some degree of fitness/ agility depending on how you go, but the hotel lift is bonus! For travellers with late flights there is an excellent luggage room with good loo and shower facilities in hotel basement. Pinos Playa staff, including domestic and bar staff, are ever cheerful and helpful. Cheaper options still have very adequate rooms and can be amazing value. Spar shop and Es Pontas restaurant are superb.

Cala Santanyi is a warm cristal clear calm water beach, with fine sand, 2 restaurants serving by the beach, some hotels around. The beach is not very long, meaning it can easily get packed of people in super high season (august) but was perfectly fine in september.there are basically 2 sides with services, I was in the side where Hotel Pinus Playa is, and there there were 3 restaurants in wich we went to 2 and a minidespar supermarket that was very usefull for breakfest and amenities.
