I was here for a week mostly swimming.
I was here for a week mostly swimming. The beaches are good and it it not very touristic so you don't get a lot of day trippers. It was just a nice size with enough going on. Great ice cream at the Colonial. Nice walk along the coast. 50m swimming pool.

The city is fairly calm (some would say boring, depends what you're looking for). It basically has three busy areas: av Primavera in the center, the port in the south with its beach and nearby platja des dolç, and a fairly posh hotel area in the north, next to platja des estanys
The nearby beaches are fairly nice and easily accessible, perfect with kids with very small waves, soft sand and very flat, and a bit further you have really nice ones
The excursion to Isla Cabrera is well worth it, the trip is nice and the island itself is quite stunning - we recommend the long "premium" version

Great quiet place - with a good local beach and easy walking...
Great quiet place - with a good local beach and easy walking access to the amazing Es Trenc. Plenty of food options and good supermarkets. Really enjoyed our stay in this little town - much more laid back than many of the other resorts and placed well to explore the more famous east cost beaches.

The beaches are not lined by hotels.
The beaches are not lined by hotels. There are protected natural areas with sand dunes. There are very few sunbeds/cafes/toilets/bins which keeps the beach more natural. Naked sunbathing is accepted anywhere along the beach and is common in some parts. There is no litter on the beach. Official litter pickers were there early morning everyday. I also saw tourists voluntarily picking up litter.
The town has enough restaurants and bar but is not too loud.

Great old fishing village that has the best choice of long quiet beaches on the island.The Es trenc side can get busy with people if you want peace and space go to the Es carbo side the sea is much nicer to swim in on this end.Try kebab Alhambra for a chicken or beef duram wrap or pitta good food and prices family run.local miquel supermarket and bakery have good choices of foods and drinks too.

Lovely part of the island! Reminded me of lowkey Menorca. Don’t come here looking for a party, but overall very laidback, quiet, and with beautiful beaches. A few nice beach bars, restaurants, and a rooftop bar give enough to do in the evenings for a relaxing holiday. Good crowd.

With my mom, we had a wonderful time at this hotel, and we would strongly recommend it :) Rooms are spacious and very clean. Directly at the hotel, there is a restaurant where you can have your meals. Owners and the staff we met are extremely nice, and they truly made our stay. The location of the hotel is excellent - it is close to the beach, public transport and restaurants. We loved every moment of our stay, and we will be gladly back.

Spacious apartament with well equipped kitchen, air conditioning, well-kept small garden; great location - only two steps to shops, restaurants, beaches, but the street stays quiet. Its probabely not the best choice for party people, which was great :-) There're different useful accessories (sun umbrellas, creams, toys ) to disposal of all guests.

This hotel was AMAZING! Bedrooms are very comfy and practical. Everything is new and the staff is very kind.
The beach and pool area are amazing and the hotel provided everything needed: towels, beach bag, sun cream….
Being in and around the hotel is a great feeling during the summer in Mallorca :)
We will definitely be coming back.

Our stay was great! We really enjoyed all the pools, bars, restaurants, mini club and the common areas. The staff was gentle and friendly. Reaching the beaches was very easy even by foot. The nearby restaurants were open all day.
