This was an absolutely wonderful and adorable property! It is located right in the heart of the old city of Peratallada. The property is in a very old set of buildings, so staying there is like stepping back in time, except with modern conveniences and comforts. Our bed was comfortable, our shower was hot, our breakfast was delicious, and our hostess was very friendly and helpful.

From the moment our car entered the street where Hotel Monells Summum is located, we started our magical six day vacation for exploring the Costa Brava. The photos on its website do not do justice to the overall exceptional beauty of every aspect of this lodging. We were greeted by Myrta and her staff who took our luggage to our room. At each turn, whenever they could be helpful, they exceeded our expectations. We looked forward to breakfast each day, enjoying the views of the swimming pool and overall tranquil environment. We are already thinking about a return visit. If you enjoy staying in an exquisite boutique hotel, that feels like a home, then this is the find you will remember very fondly.

Beautifully refinished. Simple elegance. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Situated in the heart of a gorgeous little medieval town. Lovely common area with top notch breakfast service.

The property was very clean, amenities were perfect, and its location to Peratallada was perfect. Air conditioning was wonderful.

We only stayed one night, but it was such a lovely experience from start to finish. When we arrived around 3 PM, we were warmly welcomed by the host. She showed us around the property and then took us to our room—which was just the right size, with super comfortable beds and a beautiful bathroom. She also explained how to get to the village (just a 400m walk), and wow… what a place! We’ve never seen a village so authentic, it was absolutely worth the visit. We spent the rest of the afternoon exploring and came back in the evening. After a great night’s sleep, we had breakfast the next morning and were blown away again. Everything was fresh, local, and so delicious. The owner’s care and attention really made it feel special. All in all, it was the perfect little stay, and we’d 100% recommend it!
