Wow, where do I begin. We stayed 6 nights with our two kids (8 and 10) and had the most amazing time. Truly astonishing place, extremely friendly and helpful staff and breakfast is amazing. This place is located perfectly to go on hikes in the Montserrat area or to make a quick trip to Barcelona for the day as we did.

Hotel Robert is a solid hotel close to Barcelona (45 minutes to airport by car). Our room was spacious with a beautifully remodeled modern bathroom and a balcony. Nice options for breakfast. There is a nice padel court at the property.

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel! It is all the things you want from a place to stay. It is quiet, clean, has friendly staff and the bed was very comfortable. Plus there is a hiking trail with views of the Montserrat cliffs. It’s close enough to the monastery to be convenient for a visit but far enough away as to not be bothered by tourist madness. And the restaurant! Make sure to get the prefix lunch. One of the best meals we had in Spain! We had a much better experience here than at hotels that were twice the price.
