It's not very big, but enough for family of four. Spotless clean which is super important for me. Kitchen has everything you may need. Few steps from the beach and in a very nice little town.

This is really amazing place. It is like other planet!

This is really amazing place. It is like other planet! Everything is made of lava and decorated with bright plants. Wgite houses make this landscape absolutely beautiful. The green lake looks almost unreal. The colours especially during the sunset are magnifisant! El Golfo is a very small and distant place but it has everything for the pleasure: clean beach, several restaurants with very tasty food, many possibilities for hiking (I was without a car) and very friendly people to talk to.

We have visited the area in the past but this is the first time we have stayed in the village. It is a fairly small place that has many visitors during the day. There are plenty restaurants and cafes on the sea front where you can relax and admire the crashing waves on the rocky shore. We love it here.

El Golfo is a small village with a small number of houses...

El Golfo is a small village with a small number of houses and permanent residents. Clean, all houses painted white. I really appreciate the silence and the lack of the hustle and bustle of commercial resorts with tourists like in an anthill, that's why I chose El Golfo and rented a car. It's worth renting a car, the roads are of good quality. There is a very small shop with basic products on site, but by car to the large shops, to the town of Playa Blanca is about 15 minutes. During the day there are a few tourists but there are no crowds. In the afternoon there is peace and quiet. In El Golfo there are several great restaurants with good food.

El Golfo is a world on its own.

El Golfo is a world on its own. Tourist visit the beauty of playa de los Ciclos and the many fish restaurants. When one leaves the roundabout at Yaiza through the tunnel, one understands the beauty of the speciousness of the natural scenery.....and still; everything is easy to reach from there.

A car hire is a must .

A car hire is a must . El Golfo, you can walk to the end of the village in 10 mins . There were about 10 restaurants in El Golfo. We tried 3 . By far the best was Costa Azul . Great food friendly staff . Excellent place to view the sunset .

Location, style of the property, and friendly host were all...

Location, style of the property, and friendly host were all first class. Cleaning services were a bit random and we ran out of toilet paper and shower gel. Also, parking is not private although is advertised as such. Plenty of excellent restaurants within 5-10 minute walk and fabulous sea views all through the village.

We had a wonderful 3 days in El Golfo staying at this beautiful complex. We had the self contained studio apartment. The room and facilities were perfect. There was an outstanding outside area where we could sit and watch the waves crashing and also visit the fabulous natural seawater pool that the apartments have their own gate to. We really loved our stay. We went out for dinner each night and had beautiful meals and drinks at the local restaurants that are a few minutes walk. Watched the sunsets. Amazing!! Thank you.

Location is nice but can be busy during the day because of the many tourists that visit El Golfo. The house is right on the main street and most of the days you have cars parked in front of your window blocking the view to the sea. The mornings and evenings (after 9PM) are very quiet as all the tourists have left town. However the balcony on the first floor is top to enjoy the view towards the sea and it is fairly private.

El Golfo is a cute village but there was NOTHING positive about this apartment, the host and Holidu. I feel completely betrayed and never had a holiday experience like that in my life.
