Italysuper location chalet with easy walking distance to the beach. super nice and friendly owners who started this year to rent the property. the pool is covered which is great as it gets chilly in Famara even in plain summer and keep water warm. superb kitchen and good TV. very good bathrooms. great area of famara with a superb restaurant 5 min walk.

In love. Will definitely come back.
In love. Will definitely come back. To me it was the place with the most soul. Also surfers are a cool subculture, free spirit you can feel it. The appreciation for nature is big, the majestic landscape takes your breath away and it is a humbling experience. You can just stare at the waves for hours and be in awe by the sheer and raw power and beauty of nature. We loved it. We ate and drank a lot at La Mar cafe (best vegan burger) and it has a really cool vibe with good music. Beach bar has the best coffee and smoothies and also food. Everything is there, restaurants, shops, the beach and still if you have a rented car you can get anywhere on the island in 30 minutes.
We had a bit of bad luck with the weather during our stay as it was mostly cloudy, raining and very windy due to storm Francis.
Next time we will be here at a better time and I will try surfing.

It’s a very quiet town.
It’s a very quiet town. None of the glitz of the more famous places which suited us very well. The beach is epic. There’s a volcano pretty near in the national park. We are at two of the restaurants. Very good fish platters and burgers available. We hired a car for exploring the island. Famara is so small you can easily walk round it. Surfing and boogie boarding available.

Wonderful little town sit in the past, no noises apart from the sea and the wind. Breataking cliff as a background, wonderful sand beach for spectacular walks!
The town has dirt roads, it seems belonging to another time, enchanting, white, no advertisement as Manrique (the local artist of Lanzarote) worked with politicians to keep a visual decor (all hourses withe, two floors only, no advertisment).
It was paradise for me! Just being there and admire the athmosphere!

Famara is a great location for surfers with high waves, clean beach and many surfing schools and renting facilities. There are maybe 5 restaurants in the town and 2-3 little shops, so if you like shopping and eating nicely or if you are vegan (like me ;) that might be not a right place for you. There is only one restaurant that offers plenty of (vegetarian and) vegan options. There is a lot of fresh and local sea food offered though for the great prices. I also enjoyed that it is a quiet place, no night music but only sound of the ocean.

Famara has one of the best beaches on Lanzarote.
Famara has one of the best beaches on Lanzarote. The town is lovely and laid back with a 'surfers vibe' with some nice, small bars and restaurants. The beach is wonderful as well. We think that it is worth hiring a car though!

I loved the views, the beach, and the village which had a nice mix of tourists and local residents.
It was quiet at night, as most people were sporty (surfers, walkers cyclists etc) and there were no noisy drunken parties.
It was probably one of the best places for me to stay.
There were several good cafes and restaurants + 2 Supermarkets.
I think I would come back in October ,when the weather is a bit warmer and not quite so windy

The apartment is close to everything - shops, restaurants and the beach. The beach is a 5 minute walk from the apartment. The apartment has everything you need for an enjoyable stay (coffee machine, always desirable). I liked the balcony and terrace - the views from the terrace looking onto the beach and mountains were wonderful. Famara is quite a small town, but is very relaxed and seems to attract people interested in surfing, cycling and hiking. We like to hike so it was a great base for us with other locations easily accessible.

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Georgia in Famara. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The house was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, offering all the amenities needed for a relaxing holiday. The location was ideal—close to the beach with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere.
The host was welcoming and helpful, making sure everything ran smoothly throughout our stay. I would highly recommend Casa Georgia to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. We hope to return soon!

The location is amazing, really cool view. We are totally in love with Caleta de Famara and we were very happy we managed to find a place to be so near the beautiful beach.
It is easy to find, you can park your car on the street. The flat is ok and big enough for a family, when it is very windy u can hear whistling by the wind. I did not know there wasn't a big bed, just two beds put together, one was a bit dented but it was okay. We enjoyed our stay and would come back anytime. <3
