We spent the day and early evening at Montserrat exploring the Monastery and hiking the trails. It was an easy drive down the mountain to the apartment. I chose Alojamiento en Montserrat- Montserrat Paradise Apartament because of the location and photos. The actual apartment was even better than we had expected! The terrace view of Montserrat was exceptional. The hot tub and sauna were both welcomed after a day of hiking and exploring! We highly recommend a stay at Alojamiento en Montserrat- Montserrat Paradise Apartament!

Bed was large, comfortable and location was very quiet so had a good sleep. Good value for price. Host was exceptionally helpful and responsive. Was a good location for a one night stay to visit Mont Serrat- a short drive to cable car plus restaurants within walking distance. Coffee and basic breakfast provided with room which was convenient.

Great location, right next to the start of a hiking trail and close to the market place and a little supermarket. train station and 2 rack rail stations (for going up the mountain) in walking distance. Finding it and entering it was without problems. Very well equipped, everything was there. Very clean. Very nice owners and staff. Very nice guests, too. Great for solo travelers.

Hiking hot spot. All hikes begin uphill.

Hiking hot spot. All hikes begin uphill. Monistrol is perfectly located for those who want to hike or use the funicular to reach Monserrat. It is about a 3k flat walk to the cable car station. (Moderate climb out of the river trail to the arrow cable car station required.) There are several restaurants and cafes in town, in addition to two markets. Highly recommend visiting in April when mornings are cool and middays are around 25 degrees.

We spent two nights in Monistrol, and it takes all day to...

We spent two nights in Monistrol, and it takes all day to see the monastery. (I noticed in Barcelona that some tours offer a six hour visit there, counting travel time, and that's not enough.) Monistrol is one train stop away from the cable cars up to the monastery, and we got an early start and only had to wait about ten minutes for a cable car, The view of the mountain from our hotel window was amazing.

The house is in the center of the town and has an amazing terrace. Outside it’s charmingly traditional, but everything inside seemed new and it was very clean. It has absolutely everything you would need, including if you want to cook in the kitchen. The owners were responsive when I had questions so I absolutely recommend the place to anyone visiting Monistrol!!

Comfortable accommodation right in the centre of Monistrol. It is an original old apartment so we had an authentic taste of living in this city. The apartment was clean, the kitchen had everything one needs. Wifi worked without problems. Just next to the apartment was a small bakery with lovely croissants for brakfest.

This property is 1st class. Spotlessly clean with everything you could need. The views from the terraces are stunning and it's location is perfect for exploring Monistrol and access to the Montserrat Monastery railway. A shop and bars are on the doorstep. Plenty of parking. The owner is a lovely person to deal with.
