The Boardwalk is fantastic, I could walk up the steps through the sister apartments at Garden & Sea Lodging by Livvo. There is a good variety of Restuarants down at the sea front. We had lovely meals at Leos, Simons Kitchen and Laja De Moro Jable all good experiences. The Euro Spar has everything you need. The Strip along the Av Del Saladar has great shops and Mini markets. I visited Ajuy Caves for a Day trip, it was a lovely quiet area. Car hire from Riesen was a very efficient experience.

Morro del Jable has a great beach for beach lovers - lots of...

Morro del Jable has a great beach for beach lovers - lots of culture in the town (statues/art/expressive people) and not so extremely busy (which I like). Lots of barbers and nail studios, little grocery shops and medium supermarkets, plenty of branded shops and typical tourist shops, plenty of places to eat and drink. The amount of doctors & medical offices is probably also a good thing for some of the overwintering visitors. I do however see Morro del Jable divided in quite different parts, for example the big boulevard (road FV-2) with big hotels and shops on one side, beach on the other - leading to the older town which has the little streets/pedestrian areas and coastal restaurants 2 meters from the shore - a completely different vibe. And there are every other parts I didn't see yet with most likely another style and feel to it (harbour i,e.) While it isn't that busy on the roads on Fuerteventura, the car parking situation is a bit crazy everywhere, also in Morro del Jable. The central parking place is often full and when people even double parked etc it can be a quite frustrating experience. Seen some other towns of the island during my stay and must say Morro del Jable has a lot!

Not too busy. Lovely weather. Stroll at your leisure along the front all on the flat. Quite a chill out place. Transfer prices a bit expensive from the airport to the resort which is about an hour and ten minutes.

This is an amazing place, but unfortunately, every year...

This is an amazing place, but unfortunately, every year there are more and more tourists and more and more hotels here. The beaches are endless, the ocean is crystal clear. But there's almost always a wind and the temperature fluctuates. A large promenade with shops, good shopping at reasonable prices.

Morro Jable is the old/quieter part of Jandia with lovely...

Morro Jable is the old/quieter part of Jandia with lovely little streets and authentic restaurants. Very little shopping or bars so not best if that's what you're looking for. Jandia, just up the road may be better for you. And if you're looking for English breakfast, steaks and roast dinners I'd say you're at the wrong end of the island. If you want authentic food and culture this is for you.

During a vacation in Fuerteventura, the Jandia Peninsula and...

During a vacation in Fuerteventura, the Jandia Peninsula and Morro Jable are worth a visit. The beaches are golden and the water turquoise. There are beautiful excursions available, both by sea (catamaran, dolphins) and by land (Cofete). Unfortunately, the strong winds and the downburst from the hills made spending time on the beach unpleasant, especially in the afternoon.
