This hotel is drop dead gorgeous. It has a grand staircase built with beautiful old wood. There are two comfy and beautiful sitting areas on the ground floor. The grounds are gorgeous, beautiful lawn and plants. I am walking the Camino, so it did add a little mileage to my day, but the hostess arranged a cab to take me back to the trail in the AM. They had a pilgrims dinner too.

Valbanera is located in Colombres, within 16 miles of Desfiladero de la Hermida and 20 miles of Santa Maria de Lebeña Church.
