I spent the week there as an athlete competing at the World Rowing Masters Regatta in Banyoles. It was quaint, quiet, close to the lake, and remote. It really is a B&B that caters to athletes. No smoking and quiet time. They have a lap pool for active recovery. It was “off the electrical grid” and solar powered. The innkeepers are FANTASTIC. They serve home cooked dinner and breakfast family style. It was a “home” to train from while away from home. But, the traveler beware… this is not a property for everyone. If you want to be loud, smoke, watch TV, party, and order room service, this is not for you. If you are a serious traveling athlete, biker, hiker, or outdoorsman, you’ve found a GEM!

How peaceful it was in the middle of the countryside but the room was so updated comfortable ...

It's a 140 years old building with comfortable room, free public parking is near by for 1 min and more space left after 4 PM in summer season. The brackfast and staff are very nice. and location is clost to bridge

Beautifully arranged hotel using natural materials and lots of plants. Very friendly staff and good location. Charming outdoor pool with he view towards the Pyrenees

The area was very relaxing and close to Basalu.

Comfortable room. The hotel is located in a nice avenue with a park across the street, so plenty of parking and not a lot of traffic. Nice breakfast.

Off Grid is such a special place. Gerard, Berta and team went out of their way to accommodate us in every way. The design of the hotel is STUNNING. We felt we right at home - but better! - from the beginning. Sitting by the wood burning fireplace was equally as lovely as our breakfasts in the sun by the pool. My partner and I can’t stop talking about the comfortable bed and pillows. Possibly most importantly, it’s the perfect jumping off location for cycling around a beautiful region. We can’t wait to come back here!

Beautiful hotel! Very friendly employees. The room was decent, and the hotel territory was super cute. We enjoyed the food at their restaurant! Great breakfast too.

Beautiful setting straight out of a fairy tale! The staff was wonderful, the accommodations, while rustic and simple, were extremely charming and everything worked as it should. I’d love to come back in the summer to enjoy the pool amidst the dreamy patio and gardens, fruit trees, and even a historic church on site. The breakfast was well worth the price and even the onsite dog staff added so much to this wonderful experience. Thank you for keeping such a lovely place.

Everything was amazing, I can’t find anything I didn’t like. The place, the service, the garden, the breakfast, the room… everything very lovely.
