A Perfect Stay! I stayed in a family room at Hilltop Lodge Lalibela with my beloved family and absolutely loved it. The room was clean, comfortable, and had an amazing view. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the location is ideal for exploring the churches. Highly recommended for a peaceful and authentic stay!

Pick up was arranged by Dawit from the airport and we were welcomed in the hotel. We were shown to our large and spacious room at once. After freshening up, we were treated to a traditional coffee ceremony on the veranda. the views from the veranda and from the balcony of our room were spectacular. Dawit arranged for our tours and pick ups and lunch and dinners. It was low season for Lalibela because it was the rainy season. Repairs were ongoing in the hotel during the lean period. Red rock lalibela hotel has beautiful view on the balcony, you can see the ancient lalibela town and the surrounding including the UNESCO registered rock- hewn church lalibela. i and my wife has stayed couple of days at this centrally located family run hotel. The room is very clean and comfortable to stay. I and my wife highly recommended for tourists who visit this woderful historical site.

I loved the terrace view of the mountains and land from my room and terrace. It was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The staff of the hotel were professional, gracious and kind. The chef prepared especially tasty meals and never failed to ask me if I enjoyed the meal. An oasis of beauty to return to each day. I booked a two-day tour through the hotel and had the very best tour guide. His name is Girma. His knowledge of the history of each church is amazing. He also knows the history of the region and thoroughly answered all of my questions. A great tour and a great stay at the Maribela Hotel.

If you are looking for a comfortable, centrally located accommodation, managed by the kindest people, please look no further. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, with a stunning view. Outstanding Stay at Lalibela Hotel Lalibela Hotel was truly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had — honestly even better than many hotels in Addis Ababa. I originally planned to stay for just one night, but I ended up extending my stay to five nights because it felt so comfortable, safe, and like a home away from home. They have a restaurant on-site that serves delicious meals and can even deliver to your room. They genuinely care about their guests. They warn you about tourist-guide scammers who try to overcharge and they help protect you from being taken advantage of. They truly look after you and make sure you are safe and treated fairly. The atmosphere, service, and overall experience were top-tier. The room is clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Habte is fluent in English and helps me to arrange the airport shuttles in and out. It was a great experience for me. Highly recommend it.
