We liked EVERYTHING about the hotel. The location was fabulous, 20 minutes taxi from the airport, 2 minutes walk from lovely beach! We were greeted, very warmly, by Lasheka & others at reception. I had made an unusual request for a large number of pillows to help me sleep even with my spinal injuries. This was handled with precision: something that most hotels have failed to do for me in the past. This small, independent hotel, however, treated me as if nothing was too much trouble, which is how it should be, imho. The remainder of our stay, although sadly short, continued in a wonderful, comfortable way and was aided by the truly fantastic hospitality from everyone at the hotel. We were located in a quiet spot, set back from the main coastal route which was inaudible in our superior seaview room, due to the fabulous & thoughtful design of the garden, the perfect distance set back distance. All night, with our windows open, we could hear the waves lapping on the beach but no traffic noises at all. Our room was a very good size, the bed was comfortable, spacious, supportive & firm without being as stiff as a board. The shower in the en suite was superb. The pool was beautiful: enough quality sunbeds around the surrounding deck and the glass curtain around it all kept out all the sounds of outside life and any sneaky winds coming in from the Sea were also rebuffed. We spent many happy times here. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance, providing fresh fish &: seafood, wood-fired barbeques preparing excellent meat dishes. Our ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE of all of these was the Texas Cafe. Whether it was an inventively prepared avocado toast for lunch, a perfectly marinated chicken skewer, the slowly-cooked, melt in the mouth tender ribs or the flavorsome, expertly cooked Charolais sirloin steak, the food was absolutely brilliant. As an experienced chef-restaurateur of 30 years experience, since I retired I've enjoyed some great places.

Small boutique hotel, amongst the nicest in the city, retro frank Sinatra mid-century feel, spotless, well appointed, feels exclusive. Room finishes, from furniture to bedding, are all super lux. Had dinner at the patio restaurant. Good but not great for the money. The adjoining seaside cafe/bar is exceptional. Lovely pool. We will visit again.

I really liked this place. The hotel was easy to find and the location was excellent. Yes it was a little dated, but both the room and the bathroom were spacious. The staff members were all helpful. We were able to check in an hour early, and the parking I had previously enquired about was available and very close by. Breakfast was simple but more than adequate. The hairdryer was great!!

Corsica is a wonderful change from the rest of the world.

Corsica is a wonderful change from the rest of the world. The island is mostly untouched and heavily wooded and diversified environments. Lots of nature. We toured around for 3 days and it was wonderful to not see freeways, industrial centers, big shopping malls, etc. Best locations are Bonafacio and Sartene on the Ajaccio side.

We only had one afternoon/ evening so didn’t see many sights and it was VERY hot when we were there. We walked around the old town, harbour and citadel area Lots of choice for bars and restaurants

Relaxed atmosphere with good muséums if you are interested in history esp. Napoléon and good shopping.if you are not. Everything is reachable on foot, you dont need à car and good to arrive by ferry.

Maison Bonaparte and Palais Fesch are not to be missed (and they are priced well). The old town is large and attractive (though not as quaint as many European old towns can be). The restaurants along the fishing wharf were delicious and light and airy. Many of the restaurants in the old town were closed this time of year, which resulted in open restaurants often being too busy. I recommend the following restaurants: Via Roma, 20heureVin and À Merendella Citidina. I was disappointed that beaches really are not accessible to the old town area.

Ajaccio is a lovely small town with lots to see and do, considering its size, and especially if you can move in the surrounding areas as well. Corsica is a really beautiful island. I recommend renting a car and driving around - there are some really exciting routes you can take with endless amazing scenery. Try the road from Piana to Porto if you can. It's breathtaking.

The traffic and the motorbikes were the main problem . We chose the south of the island as we knew it was difficult to get about . Our hotel was only 4.5 kilometres to the town but what a nightmare getting there . I took 45 Mins and then nowhere to park , We have both ridden bikes when we were young but we were horrified by the constant weaving in and out of traffic at speed . Lots and Lots of bikes . I can understand why because it is gridlock most of the time . Our Friends had booked a hotel in the middle of Ajaccio having flown in and after three day hired a car from the airport and explored south of the island . They walked every where in the town and took the tourist bus which would have done if we could have got to it . It was n to our best island adventure we won't be back

The view over the port from our bedroom was stunning and looking out on the market was fun too. The close proximity to the ferry port was great for us. The staff were friendly and helpful. Being able to sit outside on the terrace in front of the hotel was very pleasant. Very close proximity to Ajaccio’s main attraction was a huge bonus and also the town’s beach was only a short walk away.

Fabulous location, in the heart of Ajaccio . The apartment is spacious and glamorous. Great window and shutters, it feels so French. We really appreciate the help that the host gave me, as my bag was lost by the airline. You get a much better experience in an apartment, as you have access to a fridge ( for wine and cheese), and the washing machine was so useful, as i had no spare clothes.
