Beautiful Normandie style Country Mansion with an amazing garden and a couple of lakes full of fauna.. is practically a zoo with swans, geese's, wild ducks, ponies, donkeys, you name it. If you go there with your family your kids will love it as it is awesome to explore. The rooms were of good average size, with a tasteful artsy style and feel and a kitchen with necessary amenities. Amazing breakfast setup.. near a huge beautifully lit fireplace and a nice sounding upright piano in the vicinity.. on which me and my daughter played a little.. to the delight of the host (she does not play)

We had a lovely stay in Gratot. The host was very nice and helpful and the room was large and comfortable with a cute little bathroom that served all our needs. Very nice breakfast with many choices. It was a convenient location to visit the Normandy beach area and then down to the beautiful Mont St. Michel. We enjoyed getting a good, quick pizza one night at the Pizza truck in Gratot. The Maison was very near the village with easy parking right out the front door. The Maison is a lovely old home on spacious grounds. Perfect English spoken so very easy to communicate.
