The host was extremely accommodating and responsive. The breakfast was delicious and had many options. The room was perfect, and had a TV with cable channels. The location is great - it’s walkable from the Route du Mont station along a small road with many sheep grazing in front of the Mont St. Michel (don’t walk on the high speed road as Google maps might suggest, take the scenic route). Amazing experience!

We picked this location as we traveled with 5 children and this location seemed to have a great park. They did enjoy the park and the facilities in it (blackboard, little tractors...) and we enjoyed breakfast in the park. We were also able to leave our car there while we walked to Mont St Michel and there is a nice public park on a river bank 2 minutes away by walking. Quiet rooms in a very nice park.

Our room was clean and fairly modern, and the staff were super friendly. We were also just across the street from the trams that take visitors to Mont Saint-Michel which was very convenient! Breakfast selection was also quite large compared to other places we stayed during our trip. Definitely recommend this hotel!

I wish I had planned it a bit better in order to avoid the...

I wish I had planned it a bit better in order to avoid the pick hours at Month St. Michel. It is better to visit the abbey either early in the morning before day trip tourist arrive, or later in the day, when most of the crowds are leaving.

We arrived by train and took the shuttle bus to the island.

We arrived by train and took the shuttle bus to the island. From the island it was a bit of a walk (40 mins) with luggage through the fields to reach the hotel. If you're by car/have a bike, this hotel is a good option. If you are - like we were - just walking, it is a bit far to reach the shuttle and restaurants. The hotel itself is nice, pleasant and quiet. Very helpful staff.

We went to Mont St Michel and thought Ardevon would be close...

We went to Mont St Michel and thought Ardevon would be close. It's ok but there are other places for accommodation closer to Mont St Michel. We would recommend Les Galette Restaurant at Beauvoir which is on the main road. Great food, great vibes for couples and families. Address: 3 Rte du Mont Saint-Michel, 50170 Beauvoir, France

If you go to the Mont by foot through the fields and not by bus - the location is excellent! You avoid all the touristy crowds and start very close to the entrance to the fields with the sheep! This is much better compared to all the hotels located on the route of thousands of people going to the Mont! The hosts are nice and had very friendly attitude when we had to resolve a difficult payment situation. I liked my bed: I see many people complain about the mattress, but for me it was perfect!

The apartment can be better described as hotel room with shared kitchen/dinning room and private bathroom. Kitchen/dinning room is for guests use only (not shared with the host). Room is of average size with spacious bathroom. Everything was clean and tidy. We took a ground floor room with terrace which was nice. Breakfast was average but good enough to start a day. Coffee/tea was available throughout the day. Considering location car is a must. Free parking available on site.

We had a wonderful time at Ardevon. Patricia was a kind and welcoming host. The location is stunning, with Mont Saint-Michel in the background. A decent breakfast and a surprise visit from a flock of sheep made our stay even more memorable.

The location is super great, we walked to Mont Saint Michel. After crossing the street from the hotel, you go through some gates and walk along a farm with sheep. Very pretty.

The location of the hotel was very nice, right next to the meanders. In the morning when we left, we saw a lot of sheeps under our windows, it was nice.
