What a gem. I certainly wasn't expecting a hotel of this standard from the Bookings rating. Everything was great, the bed was large and comfortable, the restaurant was top notch and we really enjoyed our stay here. It's a pity that we only booked a single night.

It was unique experience to go to a casino nearby hotel , I loved to . The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was exceptionally friendly , making me feel truly welcome . I loved the hotel's convenient location, the delicious food at the casino restaurant, and the excellent service. Definitely recommended

A beautiful tranquil village. The scenery is great.

A beautiful tranquil village. The scenery is great. Baume has interesting Grottoes that can be visited in season and an unusually shaped waterfall the Cascade de Tuffs. Close by is the hilltop village of Chateau Chalon. Not too far away at Poligny there is museum devoted to Comte cheese which is well worth a visit,. At Arbois the wine museum is also good. Wine tastings can be had locally and there is ample scope for walks in the surrounding area.

Beautiful village with river, fine old buildings, ancient...

Beautiful village with river, fine old buildings, ancient abbey and limestone cliffs surrounding the scene. Restaurant facilities a bit scarce on Sunday and Monday but we managed ok. Nice size, not too small or large but probably gets crowded in peak tourist season.

The apartment was very clean, quite large and very well equipped. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. There is a shared courtyard that was lovely to sit out on and is where breakfast was served. I highly recommend this hotel when visiting Baume-les-Messieurs
