The first thing I liked was the welcome I received, the team is so kind and warm. Then I got to go to my room which was so comfortable and with a working AC unit. There was a heat wave during my visit so this was most appreciated. I also got to get the deepest sleep. The room has blackout blinds and is very quiet, I think it's soundproofed. It was clean, spacious and just perfect

Conveniently located for the city center and within walking...

Conveniently located for the city center and within walking distance from buses to Biarritz And St Jean de Luz. It feels as in the Basque country and the town has a pleasant central square with restaurants and a church. Accommodation was located not far from it, but going up and down a hill, which adds some time to the journey otherwise pleasant. There is a bakery, a grocery, souvenir shops and even a fashion store, and for more ample shopping supermarkets are just on the outskirts of town.

Bidart is a wonderful place to visit.

Bidart is a wonderful place to visit. The residence where I stayed was very kind to us. It also offers excellent relaxation services and a beautiful landscape that provides peace and comfort to visitors. It was a pleasure to stay there.

Bidart is a fascinating small town - with its very sprecial basque architecture. Houses lookung kind of Tirolean, I must say. In summer time, quite a lot tourists and surfers, but though; not too many - at least not in the beginning of July.

Bidart is a beautiful beach town that is very popular for surfers. This is town borders Biarritz (walking possible but a longer walk, driving within in 10 minutes) which also has a daily market to fill all fresh food needs. Bidart has more space to move around than neighboring tourist cities: walk on trails, paths that accommodate bikes and beaches, lots of green and ocean space. It is common to see small campers in parking lots (usually surfers) near beaches. This is our second time in Bidart and we are returning next year. The people who work in this area are relaxed and friendly. There are good quality bakeries, a prepared food shop (closed on Monday) that is very fair priced, many days there is a fruit and vegetable seller outside of this shop, supermarket with plenty of parking and an organic supermarket, with an easy to access gas station, a pharmacy, and is walkable throughout. There are many places to park (beach parking in major beaches and other parking) that is no cost. There are many neighboring towns that are easy drives or walks (some long, some shorter). It is easy to rent bikes in the Bidart center of town and many are now e-bikes. We usually go in May when tourism isn't as high, but there are still many people visiting due to the great surfing venue. We find that Bidart food prices are very fair as well.

Bidart is a calmer area than Biarritz, for example, or St. Jean de Luz. It is also much more affordable. The people of Basque are kind, helpful, and neighborly. We rented a house and it was very affordable. But we also rented a hotel (my husband stayed for work) on the beach (I wish I could have stayed with him). Bidart is an easy drive to Biarritz and other larger areas. Bidart has safe walking throughout. All amenities are available (could walk... a bit longer, can drive too): local bakery, local butcher, supermarket, pharmacy... Smaller market on Saturdays (limited food options, but can drive only 15 minutes to Biarritz market that opens every day). Bidart is centrally located to allow for easy driving to many areas. Traffic is less hectic in Bidart than larger areas. Children were still in school when we visited... love seeing families walking their children to school, coming home from lunch... We will be back.

All is impeccable. Cozy hotel right in the city center. Very convenient location, clean room, friendly personnel. I enjoyed healthy breakfast with lots of different options including local delicacies. The city has great vibes and a nice beach, I would definitely visit it again and stay in the same hotel!

Great place to stay and only 15 min away from Biarritz. Nice location, convenient to the highway and and great if you travel with a dog. Relaxed and comfortable and we did sleep very well. WE will stay again when we are in or path thru he area.

Nice, quiet location and private villa/pool. Easy to get a taxi or bus into Bidart or Biarritz. Great amenities and instructions on how to use everything, easy to contact the owner and quick responses. Really enjoyed everything about the stay!
