It was a beautiful and charming chateau and we felt very welcomed and cared for during our stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely view of the grounds outside our window. We thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine at the restaurant and did a wine pairing dinner which was delicious. We started each day with a good breakfast, complete with eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt and a lovely assortment of breads and cakes. The location of the chateau was perfect for our castle tours and we enjoyed traveling on the open country roads to Amboise for shopping and lunch. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for your hospitality!

Very quiet town with limited eating options.

Very quiet town with limited eating options. But the next town of Montrichard (very close) offered many more options in a quaint village setting. Also other amenities such as gas station and supermarket.

The owners were so attentive and kind. They thought of every detail and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Although it’s a very historic vintage style chateau everything was very clean and perfectly decorated. Dinner options on the nearby towns are limited. Highly suggest having nightly dinner at the hotel. The rate is reasonable and the service is five star. The decor is amazing! Washing machine and USA style dryer are available on property.

Perfectly situated for a stop on the way thru the Loire Valley to the coast. Authentic, very private and personal hotel experience. Chance to meet other guests at breakfast but not overcrowded at all. Olivier’s recommendations for what to see and where to buy wine were perfect for our needs. He also made it possible to eat at the manor after a long day of traveling in, despite having a full party at his „hotel table“ that evening.
