United StatesSuper closer to the gr20 and 2 minute walk to Calenzana. There are also couple of really nice restaurants close by. The hosts and their kids are super friendly and helpful. They helped me arrange my bag pick up for drop off in Conca and actually dropped it off at the station for me. Breakfast in the morning to start off the hike was great as well. Highly recommend it and can’t wait to return one day

FranceTout était parfait. Jo est un hôte exceptionnel, toujours disponible et de très bon conseil. Les chambres sont impeccables, aménagées avec des matériaux de grande qualité et une excellente literie. Les extérieurs et la piscine sont superbes, parfaits pour se détendre avant ou après une randonnée. La pizzeria sur place est un vrai plus, tout comme le petit-déjeuner préparé la veille, qui permet de partir à l’heure que l’on souhaite. L’établissement se trouve à seulement 300 mètres du départ du GR20. Enfin, Jo propose également un service de transfert depuis Calvi ou Bastia en tant que chauffeur VTC, ce qui facilite énormément l’organisation du séjour.

Corsican village with restaurants and a few bars, all for a trekking and travelling kind of tourist. Nothing too fancy, but great quality. The area is beautiful and offers endless hikes in the mountains, the forest or the valley.

Good base to explore the area, more. Corsican than Calvi, which is a tad commercial. Great cluster of restaurants both in the village and within a few miles.

The staff were so nice and treated us like family. They really were loving from start to finish. They let us feel free and calm to do our own thing as a family even without a kitchen in the suite and with a little three year old. The grounds are beautiful. It was too cold to use the pool but the jacuzzi was fun inside the room. The bed was more Comfortable than any other I had at a hotel. The view is extraordinary. It’s a bumpy road to get there but a nice location to explore the north of the island.

I didn’t sleep at the there. They advertise the place is in Calenzana but it is 20 km up the hills from town. I would lost 3 stage at GR20 if I went there and the cab would cost around 50 euros. So I did sleep in my tent Iin a place I found just outside in Calenzana. I try to contact them, send several email via booking.com and direct to them, got not answer.

Annick is the friendliest and most welcoming host you can imagine. The house is absolutely quiet, designed very nicely and fully equipped. Breakfast is fantastic and very copius, we were sad we couldn't eat all the tasty things... the house is the perfect base for all hikes from Calenzana.

We had a terrific stay at Casa Di Jo! Jo kindly picked us up from the airport, gave us a tour of Calenzana, and helped us settle into his home. It was the perfect start to our GR20 adventure. Thank you so much, Jo!
