CanadaIt was very close to the airport, the staff was wonderful and helpful and you felt safe. The hotel seems to be very new and is bright but the rooms fairly small but comfortable. Would always stay here again. And a couple of nice restaurants in walking distance.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful., I was impressed at the first step soon I got in…it’s impeccable at every corner…even in the room …so clean …the bed was so comfortable. For me, I am giving them 4 stars…

Even though it was just a one night stay as a break for the cross-country drive, everything we needed was within walking distance. My 10-years old boy stayed in a totally separate single-bed room with his own toilet and bathroom adjoining our double bed room with the same facilities.. So we had plenty of bathrooms and beds to use!
Brunch on Sunday morning was a delight. We chose the formula with a small bottle of champagne, which was very appropriate for the Champagne region!

We had a really good Chinese meal less than 5 minutes away from the hotel. Good value and tasty food.

A charming town in parts, especially by the river.
A charming town in parts, especially by the river. We took a boat ride on the canal which was lovely. Some great places to eat and no shortage of bars and a few good champagne bars. Plus we were only an hour away from Verdun war graves and memorials which was thought provoking and emotional.

Chalons is the reason for our 10 day trip to France.
Chalons is the reason for our 10 day trip to France. My mom and daughter are named after this town so it was very sentimental for me to get to take my daughter here! We loved walking around the town exploring the different cathedrals, parks, and brasseries. The people that worked at the tourist information center were very friendly. The only downside is that we arrived on a Sunday and most of the town was closed...a few restaurants were open later in the evening, and our hotel had a bar that was open. We did find a yummy brasserie not located on the square that was opened where we purchased the best baguette we had during our visit to France. On Monday, stores were still closed, but we bought some more breads and sandwiches from a place on the square that were also wonderful! I wish that we could have stayed one more day so that we could have gone into the shops!

We stopped overnight on the long drive between Calais and the South of France. It was our first time in Chalons-en-Champagne and it was raining. So we didn't see it at its best but the historic centre is lovely with a mix of half-timbered building and the sort of grand architecture you would expect in a town built on champagne money. The area around the town hall in particular has some interesting bars and restaurants.
We stayed in a self-catering apartment and bought our evening meal at a traiteur. Due to the rain, we didn't want to go our again.

The city centre has a calm atmosphere of its own.
We did a tour of the Joseph Perrier Champagne house which was impressive. Vincent was a friendly and informative host.

Chalons is a beautiful city full of parks, canal walks and...
Chalons is a beautiful city full of parks, canal walks and stunning buildings. We stayed overnight on the way further south but had a lovely evening in the city and walk in the walk the next morning. We would highly recommend it for a stop off place but could see it would also be a great place for a proper holiday.

Excellent location in one of the main squares. We were greeted by a nice and friendly receptionist and were able to park our motorcycles in the hotels secure underground car park. Lots of nice bars near the hotel and we were treated to an evening of live music in the square whilst relaxing with food and drinks.
The hotel was clean and modern with nice sized room and comfy beds and we had a nice breakfast before setting off on the next part of our tour.

Location to railway station on a quiet street. With cooking facilities you can make your own breakfast, lunch and dinner. There's a small supermarket nearby to help with that. Bathroom was great with a large shower area. It was hot at the time, so the air-conditioning came very handy and worked well. I would definitely recommend this place..

Location great in the square right in the centre of town with secure car parking at the back. Champagne bar very good. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. Breakfast very nice. We were upgraded to a bigger room which was much appreciated.
