What a gem. I certainly wasn't expecting a hotel of this standard from the Bookings rating. Everything was great, the bed was large and comfortable, the restaurant was top notch and we really enjoyed our stay here. It's a pity that we only booked a single night.

It was unique experience to go to a casino nearby hotel , I loved to . The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was exceptionally friendly , making me feel truly welcome . I loved the hotel's convenient location, the delicious food at the casino restaurant, and the excellent service. Definitely recommended

This is a lovely village, quiet in general and there is...

This is a lovely village, quiet in general and there is plenty of free parking. It lacks for a cafe for breakfast, so Voiteur is the nearest. But easy to get to a number of local towns like Arbois, Lons le Saunier and Poligny. Great walks in the forest, and lots of wineries to taste at. I'd much rather stay here than Arbois, which is a busy and not very pretty town with real parking issues. But also check out Baume-les-Messieurs as a wonderful location to stay.

The beautiful old house is set in the heart of the lovely village of Château-Chalon. Our beautiful room had huge shuttered windows overlooking the garden. Breakfast was excellent and varied with raspberries from their garden and served in a beautiful old high ceilinged room. The owners couldn't have been more hospitable and welcoming also booking nearby restaurants for us. We enjoyed local glasses of wine and beer in the garden too.

We loved our stay. We stayed in the Ruby room which was very cozy. The hotel itself is a beautiful building with a lovely and well kept garden, where you can enjoy a drink on the nice terrace before walking around the village. The owners of the hotel are super friendly and made us feel very welcome. We would definitely stay here again.
