The house was part of a former stable I think, entirely renovated now of course. The walls are pretty thick and the place still keeps "close-to-the-land" esthetic touches throughout, antique wooden beams throughout, apparent stone in places, carefully kept old tiles in the bathroom (separate bathtub and shower) and WC, old metal rings embedded in the walls, I guess originally used for tying the animals. Some antique furniture nicely blended with modern touches complete the modern rustic ambiance. Heating is not an issue, each room has separate electric radiators and there is also an extremely nice automatic central pellet stove in the common area. All appliances included. We just stayed for a day and night to break a longer trip, but we could easily spend more days here. Very calming and particularly nice if you have kids, since there is ample space and a nice grassy yard with swings to play out on. There is a village of course, but you're at the edge of it. Also some towns nearby, so it's easy to get some stuff if needed.
