We are traveling by bicycle and lucked upon La Picholine, an unexpected delight. It was a short climb up from the lovely village of Nyons but 100% worth the extra effort. The setting was pretty with a pool surrounded by olive trees. It felt more like a B&B than a hotel as the hosts were so kind, welcoming and helpful. They had a secure storage for our bikes, the bedroom was air conditioned, the beds comfortable, and the breakfast hearty. Highly recommend!

The room we were staying in was extremely big, we'll designed and furnished! The view from our windows was beautiful, you could see the near village on the hill. Eric was an attentive host, for everything question and need he did above and beyond. I will definitely planning to book this place on my next trip to the area. A huge plus was the time of year - even though we came in through a heat wave, the room has air-conditioning which kept it cool, and the Lavender fields nearby and in the surrounding area were stunning!

Michel’s property and hosting made our stay in Nyons very special. He is such a warm host with so much knowledge and personality. The place is stunning and feels very lo la of Provence. Beautiful gardens. Great food including mint tea from his garden and great suggestions for what to do in the area.
