We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this hotel. The hotel grounds are very large and beautiful, with a swimming pool and a warm jacuzzi with hot water, which we really enjoyed. The breakfast was incredibly delicious, the interiors were elegant and stylish, and the dinner cuisine was excellent with a great selection of wines. We truly enjoyed everything and would be very happy to come back again!

Marie Claire is the lady of the house at this lovely private residence built 50 years ago turned into a French provincial hotel. She is a superb cook and the fare was excellent. I met her son and grandson and other family members while there. So welcoming they asked me to dine with them for dinner! The property is beautiful, with a rolling garden down to a large private lake. The nights (2) were quiet and comfy with a window open for cooler air. Bed was excellent (I am 6’3” and 215 pounds and have an achy back) but slept like a baby. The furnishings are beautiful French provincial pieces throughout. The location is less than 4 kilometers from the American cemetery at Oise-Aisne. A must see. My great uncle was an officer killed in WW1 in July 1918 in this area and is buried there. My visit was both emotional and peaceful at the beauty of what was once no man’s land. There is a medieval castle in the area I will see my next visit to Fere-en-Tardenois. Don’t miss this gem of an experience.

The hostess was very sweet! Even though we didn’t speak French and she didn’t speak English, we still felt very welcomed. She also provided bread and juice for us, which was lovely! The apartment was very cozy and charming. There were a lot of stairs, but we didn’t mind! :)

A true gem! Historic Chateaux nestled in glorious grounds.

A true gem! Historic Chateaux nestled in glorious grounds. Stephan and his team looked after us with warmth and professionalism. His knowledge of the local area was invaluable and he kindly arranged a private tour of a local Champagne house and vineyard on Sunday morning. We will return.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. It’s truly one of a kind, set within a spectacular château with the breathtaking ruins of the old castle and its historic bridge creating an unforgettable backdrop. The outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi overlooking the ruins made the experience even more magical 😍 The interior is just as beautiful, combining elegance, charm, and history. It was the perfect place to celebrate a birthday! A 10/10 experience that we would highly recommend!

THE POSITION OF THIS CHATEAU HOTEL IS SUBLIME WITH THE RUIN OF THE OTHER CHATEAU IN FRONT OF IT AND IN A QUIET UNSPOILT COUNTRYSIDE. THE HOTEL ITSELF IS BEAUTIFUL. THE ROOM WE HAD WAS LARGE AND OVERLOOKING COUNTRYSIDE.

Olivier the hotelmanager made our stay unforgettable by allowing us a romantic dinnertable on the outdoorterrace and a view at the ruine. Overall we had a very nice stay at this chateau.
