This is a great location if you have business in Geneva...

This is a great location if you have business in Geneva which is like 15 minutes away. Though in France, movement to and from Geneva is very easy with bus number 60 and 66 from the Geneva Airport. There is a shopping centre 5 minutes walk and it has everything you need. Its a nice quiet neighbourhood.

I enjoyed the breakfast.

I enjoyed the breakfast. I wished I could speak French or they could speak a lot more English. I think Ferney Voltaire is a safe place. I used to walk to and from Marie to my accommodation everyday. I recollect the first day I came back from Geveva to Marie, I couldn't find my bearings to my hotel, and I approached a man playing with the daughter on a lawn that evening, showing him my hotel details. He pulled his phone and plotted the direction to my hotel for me, it was easy to get to my hotel with his direction. He spoke fairly good english.

I had a lovely experience here, my room was not only very comfortable but cleaned every day. A bus stop right outside the property which make it even better for convenience The staff were very friendly and only to happy to help with anything, I did not have the right plug to be able to charge my phone and they kindly lent me one for my stay

Good value, clean, good breakfast.

Good value, clean, good breakfast. However, not the place to stay if proximity and convenience to Geneva Airport is important. There is no free airport shuttle. Shuttle is provided by a third party, and the hotel does not arrange transfer to/from airport.

I stayed there one night because Booking.com says this hotel...

I stayed there one night because Booking.com says this hotel is airport hotel, but it was not. It was 20 mins away from the airport and it was motel, not hotel. Airport shuttle was not available unless you pay 40 euro each way. I did not go anywhere in Ferney-Votaire except the motel and there are nothing around it.

Ferney has a fantastic market on Saturday mornings.

Ferney has a fantastic market on Saturday mornings. It has several lovely restaurants, a lovely tea shop (La Truite) opposite a lovely bakery. A lovely cafe called Augustine & Balthazar (around the back). Karma restaurant and Pizza Azzuria were lovely too.

The hotel was like a motel. Easy to access the room. No stairs. Breakfast looked good, although I had only a coffee and a croissant. This hotel is a good alternative to staying in Switzerland, where hotels charge for parking. Parking is free here.
