The host contacted me the morning of our arrival and accommodated our needs to check-in early and even upgraded our room to allow us to come early. The owner of the hotel was incredibly nice. We have four small children and sometimes feel judged with so many kids running around, but this place was very welcoming and charming. The rooms were big and cozy and very clean. There is a lot of parking literally across the street of the hotel. The pool was quaint and fun. The beaches nearby were great and a lot of restaurants nearby too. We loved it.

Ghisonaccia has really beautiful white, long and clean sandy...

Ghisonaccia has really beautiful white, long and clean sandy beaches and very nice pinewood forests that invite for long walks. I was surprised to find in mid September only a few people at the beach :-) There is also a big Leclerc supermarket and a Spar supermarché in the town center. Unfortunately there is from morning to evening a constant flow of cars from Bastia towards the south through Ghisonaccia. So it's unfortunately not really nice in the center. There is also no possibility of renting a bycicle - but to be honest, you wouldn't want to drive on the main road either.

Great host, old lady who really took care of us and made us feel like at home. She welcomed us with cold water prepared in the fridge, homemade marmelade and Corsean cookies. Kids could you the swimming pool, swings, play outside in the garden and we could enjoy the outside peace and watch them. It was lovely staying there.

Very clean and well equipped apartment. We were warmly welcomed by the owner. The beach is 5 minutes walking away from the location and although is not one of the most beautiful beaches in Corsica is very clean and not crowded (mid June). The dogs are also allowed, so this was a highlight for us.
